yep. i took over 13. this total is too high for these 2 offensively challenged teams.

Example: When you see a Total set at 5.5, you play the under.

None of the pitchers look sharp between Braves/Padres/Nationals/Phillies.

I hope they settle in sooner than later.

I'm sure you've seen the "Flu Game" on ESPN classic.

I know and agree. By saying not blindly the meaning is - sometimes that line is the result of some absence on a good hitter and that is treated by me when in NBA somebodys missing and the line is changing drastically. I never play that.

Agreed. I rarely play a game with a star player missing because Vegas will overcompensate at times and "sucker" people in.

I'm getting tired of watching runs being thrown up on the board so easily on my Unders.

Thank God for The Jersey Shore Marathon on MTV!

Apparently I was blind when I was 7 or 8? LOL! I grew up with my family constantly watching sports.

You didn't understand that I was comparing you to my annoying friend.

Not looking to ruin my karma, so exit stage left. Thanks.

only 2 runs so far... I think doc will settle down and throw up some zeros and I also expect Livan to put up some zeros.  Still feel good about the under.  Positive thinking!  I've also been sucked into the jersey shore marathon, not sure why but I can't seem to look away.

I'll go no such place... anybody that bets UNDER 6.5 when it's 96 degrees in the shade needs to be outed for the idiot they really are... it might well hit for you... but it's definitely not the smartest wager.

It's a rule of thumb: When a line stands out this drastically, it's a common sharp play to play the side that stands out.

Example: When you see a Total set at 5.5, you play the under.
Example: When you see a Total set at 13, you play the over.

    Thoughts?

ive never seen a 5.5 total (halladay and JJ might have been cant remember). rodrigo lopez is an extreme fly ball pitcher. i cant see laying anything around -150 could be a good bet
