The borderline plays in this list, imo, would be...

Boston...starting a journeyman minor league pitcher...like the OVER In this game more than a side myself...

Minnesota...Stroman has given up ZERO home runs this year and pitching well...I don't trust Martin Perez any farther than I can throw him...he is due for a stinker...

San Diego...De Grom vs Paddock...looks to be a push here, no advantage to the Padres...

LA Dodgers...I'll take Fried here over Buehler...

You have 3 mistakes in that big post: Cleveland play the White Sox, Yankees play Seattle and Fried will start tomorrow for the Braves, Gusman is the starter for today.

Well dang...I was in a bit of a hurry when I was finishing that...corrections made below...

I checked again on the Atlanta/LAD game...Fried vs Buehler is shown for today, Monday the 6th on ESPN...

Strange..SBR is showing Gausman as the pitcher for Atlanta...will need to check the lineups when they are released...

No problem. MLB.com has Gausman, i don't think it gets more official than that.

If it is Gausman, I will be taking the LA Dodgers off of the borderline list as I would lean Buehler in this matchup....

The system went 6-3 on a night where most seemed to take it on the chin....or some other bodily location......overall the system is at 38-25 after 9 days of tracking...

I found myself wishing I had taken ONLY the system plays...that being said, large favorites of the system lost ...Chicago Cubs -270...Cleveland -260...Boston -170...

Only one of the losers I had identified as a borderline play, ...Boston, due to the pitching match up favoring Baltimore...and it played out that way...all other borderlines won their games...

Parlays went 0-2 for -$150...Selections went 2-2 for -.63 units...

On to tomorrow!...

Hey Smack Ive been picking my spots this was the last time I played, and yeah I went 4-1 as I passed on the 'borderlines'.



"The system went 4-5 yesterday...Overall now 32-22 after 8 days...

Interestingly, if you had not played the 4 borderline plays I mentioned you would have gone 4-1 on the day with your only loss being Cincinnati which actually should have won that game..."

but wondered if the *runs/errors mismatches* have caught your eye far as tweaking this...?

Nice work there, my friend...

I will continue to try and get that borderline analysis done as it does seem to work at times...today, my regular work got in the way of my capping...

However, it didn't prevent me from hitting my 4 team parlay...and even though I didn't post it, I did play my usual 3 units on each of the parlay selections...

I went back through and looked at the pitching matchups for today...if I had had the time to go through them today, these games would have been the borderline games...

Texas...loss
Colorado...loss
Cincy...probably loss, down 0-2  in the 8th inning now
S.D.... loss...

It is certainly looking more and more like the pitcher comparison is helping to weed out the losers in the system plays...will be working hard to get those done pre game daily...

4 of the 5 losses could have been avoided with not playing the borderline plays...
