When was the last time and all star team lost 7 in a row. I'm putting my money that the Dodgers don't.

Yes, my nickname for the Dodgers are "the Blue Brothers ".  Not to be confused with the Blues Brothers, in the movie. Dodgers main color is blue. That's the reason I gave them the nickname the "Blue Brothers "

I would recommend not thinking of the Dodgers as an All-Star team. These days they are sputtering along like a last place team, and I don't see their situation improving tonight at Chase Field in front of a huge crowd that will rejoice in watching the D-Backs send them to their hugely embarrassing seventh straight loss.

You would think the Dodgers would be motivated tonight to not only break this long losing streak but to also gain a measure of revenge for the hugely embarrassing sweep they suffered at the hands of these D-Backs just before the All-Star break. But the Dodgers didn't lose all three of those games despite trying hard to win them. They were non-competitive in all three because they barely cared. Why trust them to care now? Did they look like they cared last weekend while getting swept by the Red Sox in hugely embarrassing fashion? Did they look like they cared while getting bullied around this week in Chicago?

I'm looking forward to more shots of the Dodgers dugout tonight showing Dave Roberts looking like a man who has no answers when his overpaid players are failing to produce.

The Dodgers are just 28-23 since Will Smith last played on June 5th. Now HE is an All-Star, and without him around this team lacks fiery competitveness.

Thank you so much for stopping by and writing that very interesting write up. I truly enjoyed reading it. My gut feeling says to stay with LAD tonight. I can't belive that a team like the Dodgers with so many amazing players will lose 7 in a row.

 They are like Roulette tread carefully. DBacks are playing good Dodgers playing like they forgot how to play. Cant rely on Ohtani goodluck

Where do the Dodgers go from here? They got a strong start from Roki Sasaki and strong bullpen efforts from Edgardo Henriquez and Tanner Scott, but then the star closer they bought this past offseason served up the walk-off wallop to the little guy batting ninth.

You have a much better insight of games than I do, or than most people do. I would like to thank you for warning me, for informing me, and for letting me know, this time and a few other times, that I was about to lose some money on teams that I thought would win.  Your logic, your reasoning, and the points you made to back-up your statements were absolutely right on! 

 You are very knowledgeable when it comes to sports and "Covers" is lucky to have you on this forum.
