I have heard this about the Giants pitching staff and I'm not questioning their abilities. I'm suggesting this line being fishy and the more pitchers that throw the ball, the more chances of a fix.
Again, I have no insider information regarding this subject. It's just simply pointing out that Romo blew a save last week and how many of us were on the Giants that day? Do we chalk it up to luck, a bad day, or something else? Who knows? It has to talked about as a "possibility" and added to the possible outcomes. We have seen it happen before.

Those who make the homework early and do not get influenced by either what media (which is usually biased in gambling related subjects) tries to project about certain games and the "last minute injuries and scratches", or do not put up two more games after losing the first pick (aka chasing) - are solid and clearly on a winning side (SimonDog and Musicmatt - both post early and after they have their picks set based on the whole series projections - that is my guess).

The NBA thread turned me in to serious handicapper from a sports addict who needed action to affirm his knowledge. Before I had a plan, I had little success. The reason for that was not the lack of knowledge, but the lack of understanding the approach. It took discussion to create a process. It takes work to better it.
The irony is that I am a "process" minded person, yet it took other people with gifts to bring mine to use in this arena. Only Mavin can tell you what his intention is, but the fact is that the people that participated are better from his efforts.

man i knew zito wouldn't throw well today but 9 runs in the 3rd inning! wow lol.. i did say the bats come out in milwaukee for some reason
and on a side note.. Dan Haren lol.. seems to be fade material all year, he's just not the same guy, even halladay bounced back against the fish.
just typing my thoughts

green giants great write up on homer bailey and his bounceback start, keep those coming, you've got a good feel for it.

Under 6.5 LA Dodgers - SD Padres -103
Kershaw in chavez ravine is usually dominant.Don't see the padres scoring more than 1 or 2 runs today, and the dodgers have been struggling vs. righties so far, so I see them scoring only 3 or 4 runs.So the under seems good here.
Over 8 OAK Athletics - HOU Astros -105
Since Norris has been a starter I don't believe he has won back to back road games.Both pitchers had ugly day stats last season.the line seems a little bit inflated but I can't bet on the astros and norris today, feel the safe play is the over.I think both teams score today, something like a 5-4 game.

Really simple here. Both teams have their best pitchers on the mount today. Kennedy might be number #1 in the rotation, but Miley has been excellent this and past season. Sabathia has some great numbers against Dbacks line up.
