Uncharacteristic loss in Washington last night. With Strasburg on the mound, Nationals Park will be electric. I think Strasburg takes it far enough to keep the decision out of the pen. Important to state the Braves used 4 relievers last night and the Nationals only used 3. That might seem like a slight difference to some. If they use those same 4 pitchers the Nationals batters have seen, that could be dangerous. If they don't use them at all, that limits their options.
"Money Ball" versus "Money Man" in Oakland today. I think a bruised finger may have affected Anderson's preparation for this game. Hoping Verlander feasts on an A's lineup that should be missing some players.
Joe Saunders is just what the Ranger bats need for a big day. The Mariners were 1-3 at home before last night. The Rangers have won every series so far this season. They've had one loss in each of those series wins, so it seems right playing the Rangers after a loss.
