Im trying to watch my first wnba game in years

My first time watching it tonight. That was one crazy game. 

Some of you guys are lazily crapping on a WNBA game that turned out to be an instant classic between two of the league's top teams. A swished three at the buzzer by the defending champion Aces to force overtime and then the same player swished another three at the overtime buzzer to WIN it. When have you ever seen THAT before? And from a gambling standpoint, both of those clutch shots by the Aces' Chelsea Gray affected the pointspread.

Me. After decades of ignoring the league because I foolishly compared it to men's basketball like most people do, I attended my first WNBA game on June 25th here in Las Vegas when the Aces hosted Paige Bueckers and the Dallas Wings. The Aces were in another double revenge situation, and I spent that day loading up on them at -5, -5.5, and -6, one of the few WNBA bets I've ever tried and by FAR the largest. So once the total bet amount got into crazy territory, I decided to go to Michelob Ultra Arena and watch the game in person.

I thought I'd be able to walk up to the box office and buy a ticket to sit anywhere I wanted, but no. The game was nearly sold out and my seat wasn't that good. But the game WAS. The Aces stretched a 7-point lead entering the 4th into a 99-77 lead with a few minutes to go. You think I wasn't totally enjoying that? I had such a good time that I decided I would attend more Aces games.

I got awesome seats when the Indiana Fever came to town on July 12th, and this time I had no action on the game at all. I'll be there again when the Aces return to Vegas from their current 5-game road trip to face the Washington Mystics next Tuesday. I've also got tickets to two other home games later on this month.

Yeah, you're not going to see high flying dunks during a women's game, but you are going to see the most skilled female players competing hard. Last night's Aces-Fever showdown at Gainbridge Fieldhouse was intense competition for all 45 minutes, and if you can't appreciate that, you can continue missing out.
