And it's not $174,000,000 to the Orioles jpero. That's not what URISS is saying. It's throughout baseball.

Whether it's to 1 team or 29 other teams...it's a WHOLE lot of money they've been giving teams over the years.

Over how many years is that??

You do realize the Yankees had a profit of $380 million in ticket sales last year. That doubles that number they have paid over like 10 years.

Who knows how much they make on YES network and everything else. But yes you are so naive you dont know how to evaluate a company and realize to them that is nothing and basically a bribe so they can keep the system the way it is and keep profiting.

You are so naive. That is a fee they pay to keep the system the way it is and for the small market teams to shut up and take the money so they dont complain and change the system.

Over 7 years. But now you're ragging on the Yanks for selling tickets and not giving teams ENOUGH money?

And the Orioles have MASN and MASN 2. Every game is shown on that channel AND they get portions from the Nationals for being broadcasted on those channels.

I know what he is saying but it still does not prove anything.

It all started when he made a blanket statement about hte Orioles, which was incorrect, and I pointed out that misinformation.

He then changed his point and started crying about the money the Yankees have paid in but neglects to mention how much they have profited over those years and how the way they have done business has affected contracts throughout baseball and has changed the landscape of baseball.

Tiger Woods hasn't changed the landscape of golf?

Pero can I ask you an honest question, and this is me being 100% honest....  Do you realize you are a manipulative fool or no?  If you are married your wife should be held on the highest pedestal for having to deal with you.. Literally the HIGHEST

smart move by the Os....they had to find a way to compensate for losing half their fan base to the NOVA and DC/metro

I am not manipulative. I know baseball and the way baseball is run. I have had the opportunity to work with a minor league team and have talked to people who work for scouting departments and front offices of MLB teams. Baseball is my passion and something I hope I get the opportunity to be a part of in the near future.

    As for you....

Kick rocks. You are a brick wall and nothing I can say, even if its correct, will change your thinking. So the best advice I can give to you is go... KICK ROCKS

Yeah, I don't know how you can honestly put the Orioles in the same statement, as far as organization, to the Royals, Pirates, Brewers, etc....the Orioles changed the way major league ball parks were built in the 90s...everybody wanted a Camden Yards and it made them the model organization in the mid 90s.....hell they probably would have went to the WS if the Yankees didn't utilize the 10th man sitting in the first row of their outfield in the playoffs one year...

They won through free agency and their own talent as well...what happened after all the players left was a complete disaster but I do not know how anybody could say that the Orioles as a franchise is in any way compared to train wrecks like the Royals and Pirates.

They are losing now but don't forget how popular and successful they were after Camden Yards was built and when Ripken shattered a record that was consider unbreakable...

alright, this sounds personal, i will get out of it....just wanted to see what people were saying about Jones.........tough to call a one hit wonder if that wonder was during his rookie year....that is not a good way to evaluate talent.  He was a top prospect so the talent was there, he made a splash on the league right away...he is having a bad year, i think if anything he just doesn't look comfortable at the plate, but i wouldn't say one hit wonder....looking comfortable at the plate can easily be changed especially when you have the talent we have seen in his first and second seasons..

insults never make people aware of what you are trying to tell them...it just brings fuel to the fire and turns a meaningful discussion into an argument....try and be proactive by resolving what you disagree about with fact....

Its so funny that Pero fails to recognize the reason why the Yankees have been so successful is because of Jeter, Pettitte, Cano, Posada, Rivera...Take away Rivera and the Yankees would have been nothing the last 15+ years! Has nothing to do with the YES network or Yankee fans in CT! Or any other manipulative biased bullshit excuse Pero can come up with
