I think Markakis is the real deal...but certainly not sold on Jones. 1 good season doesn't make a player. His defense hasn't been nearly what it was last season.
As of now...I take back what I said to jpero. He rubbed it in my face all offseason that Jones was an All-Star. Well...looks like the bragging rights have currently shifted.

If you think about it...Upton isn't all that proven too. Tex is the only proven guy of the 3. Upton batted .221 in his rookie season. Only .250 in his next season. And then his first full season, last year, he was an All-Star but didn't exactly put up eye popping numbers.
I'm just saying. These guys still have pleanty of time to be great...but they really aren't showing it.

i know just trying to have a little fun with it. Upton and Teix have been better 2nd half players then first. I should add BJ upton and Chone Figgins to my list of shit players on that team too

Apparently you didn't see the contracts the Orioles gave out in the 90's to early 2000 (probably worst contracts in baseball history) David Segui etc..... What has Orioles ownership done with the millions of dollars they have receive din the last 10+years??? Ohh I know they pocketed it

They receive little ot nothing in terms of revenue sharing. Keep up the fairy tales.
They received $2 Million.
Also the revenue sharing and luxury tax is just a bribe paid by the large market teams to make the mid-small market teams shut up and not revolt against the current MLB system.
