Hey Sparky, i heard the Yankees might not resign Cano and guys like aroid and tex may not be signed when they are up ... stadium isn't selling tickets anymore. what was priced originally by the yankee stadium geniuses was $100 tickets are now packages for $10 a night.
is the yankee barage of over paying players just so they can be good finally coming to an end?

Put Reynolds at 1st and play Tolleson or whoever at 3rd for now. DH Davis.
Mark is still a valuable offensive player. He has forgotten how to throw the ball and looked pretty good at 1st last year. Put Davis at DH and then platoon Wilson and Nick Johnson with 1st, DH, 3rd/LF (Betemit)
I dont expect Roberts to play. His rehab last night he struggled catching up to 88-90 mph fastballs. Hopefully in 10 games or so he will have made adjustments but I dont see how Roberts at 34 and missing a year and half can provide much value over someone like Andino.
Oswalt on the Orioles radar. That would really stabilize the rotation but I dont see him going anywhere but Texas.
Would love to see the O's trade for Chase Headley

i feel the same way about how espn tries to create drama and makes up these shit shows ... hell they do it with the red sox and yankees all the time. ... wasn't the story line on espn.com recently "Yankees Red Sox battle it out for 4th place."? Yeah, really ... what kind of sports media outlet is out there talking about the cellar dwellars as their major headline.
BUT coming from a financial background it is no secret that when your revenue shrinks faster than anticipated (takes no genius to figure that you planed to sell 1 unit for 100 dollars and now selling for 10 you have some major financial troubles brewing) and you already have so much invested in other very expensive assets that you are no longer a viable option of any major acquistions.
but hey, just laugh it off as it is a big joke and keep talking about the yanks as if they were the same team right at the end of the steriod era ... what happened to arod and tex?

Being an O's fan I am very happy to see the Orioles doing well for once. The thing that scares me most is that there will be a major let down.... I am enjoying it while it lasts but I am not going to put my money on them because basically all the teams in our division are capable of ripping off a pretty good streak and closing the gap considerably even tho it is just 5 for both the Yanks and BJ's.
