GL all I caved and took the Reds for a unit at +235....based partly on Lehr beating Harden 4-0 early in year and also that I think Reds take a game here in Wrigley, so at plus money I will bet them every game this weekend until they win hoping to make out on the positive side...best of luck either way

Right idea, but you have to try to switch your book over to matchbook.....They had +260 or more leading up to the first pitch

This has your classic wild Wrigley afternoon circus written all over it...someone will blow a 4-6 run lead and it will end with something wild in the 9th or 10th...

Harden throws 40 pitches and yet the Reds manage to score 1 run.....or even 1 hit for that matter..........I can't decide if that's a good or bad thing

WTF! I thought my +225 was pretty solid (highest my book had it) and now I see people could get it for +235 and +260! Damn, that's really solid.
yeah man, Matchbook works just as a sports betting exchange where sports bettors like you and me can post the lines we want and not have to deal with what the books say. If you pick up a bet that is posted by another bettor you pay the site 1% of the lower amount of your wager (ie you bett 100 to win 150, you would pay $1 to matchbook......that buck is taken out of your wager after it settles). If you post a line that you want and someone else picks up your line, matchbook will pay out 0.2% of the wager (ie in the same example you would get 20 cents no matter if the wager wins or losses) It might not seem like much but with these much better lines and in some cases getting paid to take them it's a win win......The only hard part is loading your account. pretty much the only way to do it is to go to bank.com and get a prepaid debit card that you can load and reload at various locations through out the country. The reason for this is that the site doesn't allow for any USA credit / debit cards for deposit...........The only other book that I think is on the same level is 5dimes, but there are a couple others that are solid aswell

Great info, thanks. I'm in college, so all i have are U.S. cards, which is why I am limited to playing at books that accept them. It sucks because I lose value I could be getting elsewhere, but once I graduate and can wager more I know where I'm going to be betting baseball.

Bator....I know you're not a parlay guy, but what do you think about a Yankee/Marlin ml parlay?? Any reason to think the Nats or O's bring it only the road vs Pettite and JJ ??
