On June 19th the A's won a miraculous game at home vs. the Angels in which they went ahead early 4-0, and three innings later found themselves losing 11-4. Then the A's scored in the 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th, and 10th to win 12-11. On that night, the A's became the first team in major league history to give up 5+ home runs, give up a 7+ run inning, and fall behind by 7 or more runs.....and win the game anyway. 

That wild win evened their record at 38-38. They have gone 7-32 since.

The Red Sox last night became the first team in major league history to score in the 9th, 10th, 11th, 12th, and 13th innings. Of course, they did it with the help of the ghost runner in four of those innings. Nevertheless, they won a game they were supposed to lose and are now 31-5 since June 25th.

The A's are 4-15 since the All-Star break. The Red Sox are 17-3.

The A's have lost 8 in a row. The Red Sox have won 8 in a row. The last time the A's won and the Red Sox lost was 10 days ago when they played each other at Sutter Health Park.
