The most disappointing loss in quite some time. White Sox score 7 in the bottom of the 9th to beat the Devil Rays.
But.
This is why we spread out units and don't go hog wild on any one game no matter HOW much we LIKE it.
Bankroll Management and discipline.
Variance has hit us with several tough losses today.
It might end up being the first losing day in a week.
Even then, we will still be up large units and collecting from our book tomorrow.
Because.
We did not abandon our focus on bankroll management.

I’m confused. Were these plays or not? No mention of them instead of subsequent pages other than a play on the Red Sox

Yes, they were/are plays.

I clearly say in that post that we needed to lock them in last night.
However, there were no plays on the Boston Red Sox. Not sure where you got that from.

As a long-time veteran of this game. I respectfully say don’t chase this final game. You’ve had a rough day. And you don’t want to compound it by forcing action. If you do chase I will announce a small bet the other way. No matter which team it would be. It may just not be your day. And I will play that momentum. But all the best. You had a good week for these folks. Just sit back with a beer and watch the / game 7 hockey games tonight.

Phillies at Astros. Falter vs Urquidy.
Urquidy has been bad lately. Last 3 starts 6.92 ERA with a 1.77 WHIP.
He has a 5.64 ERA, 1.75 WHIP and 20:9 K:BB through 22.1 innings coming into the game for the season.
Falter has been better with a 5.60 ERA and a 1.19 WHIP but that is nothing to write home about.
Batting, the Phillies are top 10 in the league in most metrics while the Astros are bottom quarter of the league in most metrics.
The line is Astros -163 at my book which is a large move from the -150 overnight line.
I have heard some books have not moved off the overnight line of -150. If this is the case, its very bullish for Philly.
My lean is to the Phillies as they represent the better value at the +143.
I will post in 15 minutes if I am going to play it.

I know I know, the pics are in your posts. Was a busy day for me yesterday out of the house most of the day checking in on my cell when I had the chance which is why I missed some of the picks. But I know they were all there. I think I said that it didn't feel like that bad of a day overall because the picks that I did see and tailed I won. I will do a better job of my due diligence. Keep up the great work AD!

I'm thinking we will know more about your assessment when the final out is recorded.
Although I would never question your expertise on "subpar days" and "forced chase plays" as I just don't have them often or do that ever.
Every play I make is based on a skilled assessment of the metrics, trends, numbers and psychology involved in the game, among many other metrics.
I don't bring emotion into it so I don't chase.
I will also take one subpar day a week, even though it is painful.
However, it is my bookie who will be feeling the pain soon when he has to payout 60+ units for the week.
How much will your book be paying you this week?
Edit: Very nice edit there. I'll just leave my post as is for future reference.
