slowly getting there

still slowly inching towards my target... I dont know if its gonna get there before the 4 o'clock close today... will probably bank what I made instead of holding the position over the weekend.

Now we're getting real close!  Lots of action here! 

Hit my limit!  Banked 60 pips!  Puts me up for this session, even with the loss on the EUR/GBP buy

I got out with almost twice as much as my first goal...barely but i got it....it worked its way all the way back to within 6 pips of my first buy....this was my best week in a long time...had two trades go for 50 plus with 2 lots...

This is my first time reading about Forex Trades and I have been reaqding your comments and all the others on here thanks for that. I have a few questions if possible you can answer for me.

If I open an account with $2000 if all goes good in a month, about how much could be really made in a month with that investment?

Are you able to withdraw your profit whenever you want? or is there a time frame?

Starting with 2k id say youd be able to make at least $200 a week..maybe more just depends on how much time you have...and thats starting trades with 2 lots....my trades would have brought close to $500 this week in a mini account

If  you leave the $$$$$ in there youd be able to trade 3 lots after about a month......I like to have close to 10x the $$ sitting in the account vs what i have wrapped up in a trade...so if you bought 2 lots and had 2k in the account youd have 200 wrapped in the trade[depending on the pair]and 1800 available just in case....i know thats only 9X but once you get started youll be where you need to be margin wise

You could trade more prob but trading that way will leave you plenty of wiggle room in case you have to average into a trade and if youre going to follow me id suggest you do this...i think im pretty good at this but no matter how good you are  at some point youre gonna be early/late or just flat wrong at times,but we are dealing currency here so as long as youre not stuck close to an all time low/high it WILL come back to you......and if you have the margin to work the trade you can get out once you find support or resistance in the charts

I guess its like a stock in that you havent made/lost till youre out of the trade...if you buy shares of a stock and it drops a few bucks would you jump out or wait for it to come back to your entry price or buy more to lower your average and then wait it out?I know what id do....

Thers no time limits or anything and its your money so you can take it out at any time you wish..........im around for anybody with questions

Do you also invest in stocks or is Forex your only trading?

I know that the markets open and close at diffrent times ex London etc... What time do you feel is the best time to look at the market and try to trade if something lkooks good?

I read another comment on here a guy stated that he can make $10k in a month WOW. Is that really possible and how much would you need to invest in a account to really make that in a month?

I still play with a few stocks...i watch my parents investments and move them in and out of stocks all the time...

10k a month can be made if you got the scratch to invest...i made over 5k this past week...not bragging just saying it can be done...i wouldnt try a standard account with less than 20k but thats me...i think you can open a standard with as little as 5k but thats risky as hell...i think the best way to go is opening a mini with 2k or more and build up your account and exp...

It can be done...i found a system that works for me and im by no means a genius...hell im just a construction worker....for now

BTW guys practice account are free so theres no need to risk anything b4 you get ur feet wet

I trade crosses on the charts and theres really no set times...but if you can be watching from 7am to noon daily there is almost always a trade to be made at this time

Take a look at the daily charts on USD/CHF and GBP/USD

NZD/USD also about to get an ADX/+DI cross on the daily with the RSI coming down from 80s....stochs just crossed over too

To me this was a very interesting technical day because of the USM and what it did to the USD.

Now do we think the USM is going to continue to dip, and the USD go up?

If not then these crosses will quickly turn and flip the other way, if we think the USM/USD has changed direction then the potential move is HUGE..the AUD will be slaughtered if the markets drop and commodities drop..huge slaughter.

I am not sure it is there yet...

Wall,Pop,Rick or anybody that has something to add looking at GBP daily...if this cross comes through i see next support at 1.59?Does that seem right to you guys?

Im looking at some other forums and there seems to be thoughts that there might be some 1.61 support but looking over long term it hasnt held and if this drops i think we see 1.59...trend has been down since mid Nov when it hit a high around 1.69...drawing trend lines on the chart looks like it was good for a sell just over 1.63...

Since last June GBP/USD has made runs as high as 1.65 but crashed back to 1.58/59....5 times

LOL...look at he weekly USD/GBP...

Wall maybe we see this push higher here...who knows but if it doesnt rally early Sun/Mon i think we see it test the weak support just over 1.61

I like the daily and weekly charts...been in twice last few weeks this thing has to be close to  bottom right?A push lower maybe as far as 1.44 and thats a low from 5 yrs ago....

We were part of the move from the 1.40s and higher. I think if the market and USD do ever turn, the LB will go MUCH lower than1.59..

I signed up on Forex with a practice account. Is there a reason why I can only buy 1 lot with a deposit of $2k ? When I enter to buy others it states insufficent margin...Did I use up my $2k on just 1 lot?

Are you buying 10k lots?

it says 1 lot for 100,000 does not let me lower less than 100,000
