Ya know what bothers me? The fact you have a kid and didnt keep that in mind when you were doing illegal shit. I dont care what anyone says and all the sympathy your getting but its BS I would do anything to have a kid. But what I wouldnt do is sell fking drugs. Thats a loser thing to do. You deserve to get time and im glad you did. Do you deserve 6.6 years for your first offense? Absolutely not. I think you got a raw deal. I do not feel bad about you doing time. The kid should have made you do the right thing. I havent worked for three years as no one wants to give a guy with Tourettes a job. Am I selling drugs? No. Have I had the chance yes. I got offered to drive a car to Delaware for alot of money. He wouldnt tell me what was in it but he did tell me it was full of narcotics. I knew if I got caught I would put my wife in a bad spot. Thats what stopped me from the "easy money" A 5hour day for over 500$ Id rather work at fucking Mcdonalds than face time like you are. I believe you learned your lesson but now you have to watch your son grow up thru prison bars because your an idiot.

The gun might have you fucked..My buddy and my Aunt both did 8.5 on a 10. Him for maufacturing meth and her for sending/receiving LSD thru the U.S. postal service.
Both did there time at what they call a minimum security 'camp'.
My buddy said he got moved from prison to prison the first couple of years but eventually did his time in Colorado. He said he played softball and lifted weights the whole time..No fear of rape or any kind of violence in most federal prisons he said.
My aunt did her time in Pekin, Illinois..I visited her several times..Her place looked like a college campus...Two main dorms, a chow hall and a gymnasium looking building.
Her's was such low security that there weren't even fences..She had to smoke outside her dorm, she was allowed to smoke in the middle of the night, if she wanted she could have just walked away and got into a car. We used to sneak her in charms and all kinds of jewelry pieces so they could make presents for their family members birthdays and shit.
They both got to watch new release dvd's..Receive pretty much reading material they wanted..Your family has to order it from certain stores and have them ship it to you.

keep your head up man, these fools in here are just a mirage behind a screen, not stand up. you obv could of shorten that and you knew the consequences of what you were getting involved in. just make sure you have a girl and people around you that will hold you down and send love your way. time goes by, just keep your head up. i guarantee youll find a book in there, especially in the feds.
