Anybody ever been to Federal Prison?

That's the way it works in the federal system. 

My mum put me in the naughty corner once,that is sort of like prison

What smells foul? I got busted August 26th, I plead in January and my lawyers will file a 90 day appeal. Just sit up there in Canada and pipe down

A fed year is 10 months so that's best it offers, there is no parole from the feds. You have to do your crimes consecutively not concurrently

The gun with drugs is probably mandatory time

Hard to have a bucket list when u can't leave Western PA.... I was supposed to go to Red Rocks for a concert next weekend, and PAC MAN fight November 14th. I ain't allowed nowhere now

No problem man I feel your pain. I caught a gun spec. charge years ago and got sent up. Hopefully you get sent somewhere where you can get your own cell. Then just get a radio and tv in your cell and bet on some games keep your nose clean and mind your own business. Easy time. I just bet cartons of cigarettes but it keeps your mind occupied and never had any trouble getting paid.

I was in state. But hell yeah you can have a tv and radio in your cell. And feds get more privileges then state prisons. Yeah you can get newspapers and theres also a library that has 8 or 9 different papers and all kinds of magazines etc. If you can get your own cell with a tv youre all set up. As long as youre in a minimum or medium security you can come and go from your cell all day long and do whatever you want. Its like your in a little town that you cant leave.

i feel for you man. read books, read books and read more books. keep to yourself. find one or two solid people to watch each others back. come out educated. your child will be 15 and will need a father. if you read and really become educated you can take a low paying job in the feild you decide and prove yourself.

  I would say medium or minimum if its your first time in prison. They usually dont send you to max unless you get in a bunch of trouble or are doing like 30 years. Max is nowhere you want to be. Dont get me wrong losing your freedom and having to do whatever youre told by the guards when they snap their fingers is fucking terrible.
  There is a lot of gay shit going on but its all mostly consensual. People arent getting raped all over the place like they portray on tv. If you can fight a little bit and are willing to defend youself if need be noones going to bother you. To many other gay people running around for anyone to bother trying to force anything on anyone.

man that sucks bro. i know some friends who went to camp snoopy. like has been said, mostly white collar criminals, you do 85% of your time but way way better than state. itll go quicker than you think

i had a friend doing 60 months. i sent him squares for the big football games etc. maybe send you a few books that i have found helpful in my life.

you only lose if you stop trying and jail is a place that can break you. know that going in and prepare to beat it. try to hang with smart people and people that make you laugh. again, GL.

Dont trust anyone and watch what you say!!! Consider youself lucky that it is fed time REALLY. I believe that at some point you can ask for a modifaction of sentence, even though it is a fed conviction, so keep yourself clean. Take all the programs they offer if only to pass the time.You will learn how it's best for you to do your time. GL now, and when ya get out.

I would no joke run and live off the land if I had to. I couldn't survive being locked up that long. You're a stronger man than me if you go through with it and serve your sentence. I'd live in the woods like that guy from into the wild over prison. If I did sack up and go I'd read a ton of books and workout like a mad men every day. Good luck bro....
