Anybody ever been to Federal Prison?

I go in April for 79 months and just wanted to know if you think there is sports gambling inside? Not for coffee or cigarettes but for real money. Think there is a bookie in every joint?

Why is a federal charge?  Were you crossing state lines or was it the feds that busted you?

DEA busted me so it makes it federal

 I Did a little bit back in the 90s. NFl and Nba parlays card were everywhere. 3 and 4 teamers mostly.

It's bullshit tho. The gun was in my truck in a box with clothes cuz I had been moving all week and didn't even remember it was in there. I have no criminal history and never been fingerprinted/arrested in my life

I have a nephew that did a few years in federal prison for a similar charge.  Apparently federal prison is a cakewalk compared to state prison.  A lot of white collar convicts.

They don't tell you where your going til sentencing. It just says (within 500 miles of your home) which is prolly a lie

Its all about finding the right person. Alot of people who move drugs in and out have their family handle all the money on the outside. And most of the time the same people running the gambling are the same ones running the drugs. So if you have someone on the outside willing to pay off im sure it could be organized. Good Luck and hang in there, its not as bad as you see on tv.
