Sparky that trade in 143 is awsome. I just cant do it. Its more than fair enough. Just doesent fit my team. I take  Heyward its either him or Ludwick or Gardner. To many OF not enough spots you know what i mean

No if i took Heyward out it wouldent be fair. Its an awsome trade. If i dident have Ludwick, Gardner, Byrd, Young, Lind, Heyward ( if i accepted ) i would do it. You have to remember with my team i have Gonzo, Votto, Cabrera whoh are all 1st baseman so 2 of them are always in my UTIL spot

Take out Heyward. Put in Verlander, and give me Gio Gonzalez as well in the trade.

for

Span, Andrus, AGon, Gio Gonzalez

Then so be it. People can drop/add pitchers every day. They're a dime a dozen. Closers are meaningless to me because what good is it if I win saves and lose HRs, Runs and RBIs?

Gio Gonzalez won't pitch as well as Verlander, but he's very serviceable and strikes people out.

Span and Andrus really help me with steals and runs. AGon helps with HRs and RBIs. Not quite as much as Morneau, but he'll get the job done.

Theriot is a throw in to get him to take the damn trade to take over at SS because he doesn't want Scutaro.

 

But thinking about it now. I am left with no 2B and 3 SS. Now what?

This trade looks so good on paper but when i put it in my lineup im not feeling it. still checking it out and im still here

Nah...I think the first one was more fair but I just NEED that offense and if Verlander makes the deal...I gotta do it. It's like the Jays needing to get rid of Halladay. They probably would have rather got what they asked for from the Yankees or Red Sox...but they had to make the trade with Philly because they were running out of time and they had to fill a need.

Also im thinking to myself im in first place and do i really want to shake up whats working fine. I came into this wanting 2 closers and now im dealing with a 10 man trade

Sparky Gets    - Abrue Agon
Powerade gets - Mornaue

This is true. But your team is so well rounded with power from Votto, Miggy Cab, Morneau, Ludwick and Kelly Johnson (from time to time).

Speed with Pierre, Gardner, Theriot and Votto will give you a steal here and there.

Runs scored will come from everyone.

And you get steals and upgrade ERA, WHIP and Ks.

Hmmmmmmmm...This could work.

And it works with ManRam just having to give up 1 guy by getting his saves.
