Washington at Nebraska (12/30/2010)

dude good luck with your play,but if your sole reasoning on this is some how related to line movement and hype of the NFL might want to dig deeper. their is on conspiracy on line movements. simply look at the averages and this game is on par for that. the question that begs its self is it a game of ratios or conspricy. ill go with ratios in my decision making. however 14 pts does seem like a lot of chalk. still thinking on it but not taking in consideration of line movement from a NFL game. Cmon man

Nebraska -13

Didn't get the final lines for this game but I have a feeling it's going to be high from my local.

Nebraska took a big hit on defense with the suspension of their best defensive player DT Baker Steinkuler but I still feel Nebraska should still be solid enough on defense to handle without him. But If Washington find ways to create holes on the line to open up their running game then Nebraska could be in trouble.

I'm sure Wahington's defense can handle the dual threat running game of Nebraska. Nebraska's strength on offense is the run and I feel that Washington's 103rd run defense will find themselves in trouble if the Huskers get the run game going early and often.

I'm also hoping with Martinez who gets the start tonight is healthy and overcomes that slump that he was in towards the end of the regular season.

Leaning on Nebraska at the half but not real solid. Pending on what happens on my K st first half and NC first half will help me decide whether or not to lay the hammer on this one.

Damn! I meant to say Can't....I say damn cause that's already bad karma for me....now watch Washington shut down the Nebraska run game.

wouldn't be surprised if washington kept this one close.  line hasnt moved with 80 percent on nebraska. nebraska is not going to be hyped for this game.

just feel compfortable wagering against you guys (mizzo, navy, baylor, wv) just name a few.. everyone all over those teams, they all lose lol.

I believe there have been 3 rematches in bowl games from the regular season the last 2 years and whatever team lost in the regular season, won in the bowl game... with that being said.

As far as Huskers not being "up" for the game, I have to disagree.

 I can't imagine any athlete especially a college athlete deciding  "I'm not really gonna try tonight" in a bowl game infront of a national audience, with family, friends and the entire NCAAF watching. It's in their nature to compete. Just my $00.02.

Small play on the over. I'm with many on here. The line isn't moving when  everyone is in love with Neb.  Just think 13.5 is too many points. Not gonna bet against Locker on his last go round.

as for everyone talking about the line movement...

call the game as you see it, don't base your pick on line movement. a few of you changed your picks to 'zona last night cause of line movement and it bit you in the foot. during the course of this season i followed line movement very closely. when the public seems to be pounding one side, but the line is mysteriously going down... those games over the course of the year still ended up around 50%. all line movement should do is make you open your eyes and take off those rose colored glasses so you don't end up betting the house. that is my 2 cents.

very interesting stat... i wonder how many of those teams were double digit favorites though and had beat the other team already by 30+ pts.
