I actually like WASH and the points for a couple of reasons.

#1 they've already played NEB

#2 they were horribly embarrassed and this is a spot to redeem themselves

#3 Locker couldn't possibly be as bad as he was in the 1st game, 4-20 for passing , 2 INTs & for 70 yards

#4 motivational factors: WASH is looking for redemption whereas NEB blew their chance at a BCS bowl bid and are relegated to playing a team that they've already dismantled.  NEB cannot be too dithyrambic about this game.

No play for me, but if I were a gambling man I'd take the 14 points.

good points  holtnt.. my minds says cornhushers but my gut says take the points ,,just don;t trust this offense if qb taylor M is not right...plus we know what we gonna get from locker ...washington took a beatdown  in the first meetings and you know what they say about payback...let;s call for the outright win here washington 31---22....GL...

This game means nothing to Nebraska and the two teams have already played each other this season. Nebraska has to many distractions, another popped up today

last 3 games wash averages 25 for and 16 against
last 3 games nebraska  averages 24 for and 16 against

4 GRASS games wash averages 20 for and 28 against
2 GRASS games nebraska  averages 19 for and 20 against

ALL games wash averages 22 for and 31 against
ALL games nebraska  averages 33 for and 17 against

Totals have been unpredictable lately.  I'm going with the safest route.

Nebraska to win outright, AKA the ML.  Go Huskers!

Nebraska wanted to be in a BCS game and now end up in the Holiday Bowl yet again.  They can't be excited about this.

On the flip side Washington barely made it to a bowl and have a motivated QB in Jake Locker to put on a final college audition for the pros.

Nebraska may win but not by 13+

what people really need to be looking at is whether or not washington can stop nebraska. if nebraska puts up 35+, it's going to be very difficult for washington to cover. locker is good, but it is pretty obvious that he doesn't have a lot of 4 and 5 star talent around him. locker can only do so much.

There is no reason that the result of tonight's game should be any different than the meeting earlier in the year.  Martinez is at full strength and should have a field day against against a suspect Huskies' rush defense.  Nebraska's strength is it's defense, mainly its NFL caliber defensive backs.  This matchup is a nightmare scenario for Jake Locker, who is Washington's only prayer for a competitive contest.  His 4 for 20 performance in the first meeting was no fluke; the Huskers' secondary is that good.  Huskers win big, easily covering.  I don't have a strong opinion on the total, but under 54.5 seems enticing.

I like Nebraska still but alot of points in the Holiday Bowl and the books leaving it under 14 so they are not worried.
Nebraska has been good and Washington is overrated with bad coach.
If Washington can move ball with good qb/rb they should cover.
No constant here, game worries me.
Too easy to hammer Nebraska here
Might watch and 2nd half wager after I can see a half first
