shakey... I think from top to bottom N.Illinois is better in most departments.. But so was G.T when they traveled out there last year. If your looking for a key in this game, look at the coaching department. Trust me, Gill will use the whole how in the hell are we dogs at home vs a MAC team... Kansas IMO, wins this game SU.

FSU's offense looked very week. Their defense kept them in the game. They almost did not cover FSU made me sweat.

When FSU goes against any tough competition with a decent defense they will suck

Boom.. what are your thoughts on Clemson? Boyd lacked confidence in the beginning, but seemed to get it together. With a creampuff game in wk2, i hope he pulls it together and redeem our loss against Auburn.

The Kansas play is a hidden gem this week. You are absolutely correct in the assumption that Turner Gill will use the underdog factor as extra motivation for his boys. Don't get me wrong, NIU's offense and defense are good enough to hang with most big programs on a neutral field, and Kansas is definitely prone to disappointment. Gut feeling here is NIU will have a rough visit to Lawrence and Kansas pulls ahead late for the win.

Do me a favor and hit 80% this season so I don't have to do any of the work myself.

I agree with your pathetic list except Notre Dame. I had USF +10.5 so obviously I'm delighted with the outcome. Admittedly I didn't see the whole game, but from I did see I thought the Irish looked looked pretty good on both sides of the ball. Had the Irish done a better job of protecting the ball, I don't think there is any question they win (and possibly cover) that game. Great week this weekend Boom. Good luck in week 2.

I am all over Stanford this week. Got it at -20 this morning. But after seeing how Duke did against Richmond this weekend, the Stanford game could be reminiscent of the Alabama game last year.

ill save you the trouble easy play here...NIU...NIU rolled over army with Hopkins and Harnsih looking really good. On O NIU returns all key players except Spann (#1 rusher) but they have a Sr in Hopkins that has talent and exp. They lost 2 ol but a ton on the D. Against Army their first team kept the Cadets to 92 1st half Yards rushing..Army didn't get anything going until the 4th (49-6 at that point) when it was a blowout and NIU had pulled out starters. KU on the other hand returns 7 on O and 6 on Def on a team that lost 9 games by almost 30 ppg. Their offense is bad and they now have a Fresh under Center in Bergland with an O lin that lost 3. Coach Gill runs a pro style O using Play action to set up the pass...They need the run to work to move the ball...NIU is more veristile, mobile and dynamic O than KU and easily wins the battle in the Trenches...even if KU wins the trenches, NIU can score more points...NIU 34 KU 13...NIU easy cover on -5
