So the line opens at TCU-1.5, gets pounded by sharps, and goes to TCU-3... now 77% of the public is on Wisky +3, and the line still isn't moving... almost as good as reverse line movement... what does that tell you --------------------->>> TCU -3

So you believe that this game is fixed then, correct?  You must.  All of these "line theories" would mean that games are pre-determined and th outcome is already known, by someone.

    I'm not buying it.  Sorry.

I'm saying Vegas has a correct read on this game, as seen by their opening line... or they have soo much "sharp" money on that 23% that they're willing to take 77% on wisky and not have that line move, thus you're either siding with Vegas or the sharps...

so which side is vegas on?
i still dont understand the way line movements mean or if the spread is at 1 lol

Yes I'm saying vegas wants people to bet wisconsin, thus the reasoning for the line staying at 3, in other words, it seems to me, wisky is a "sucker" bet

They should make a movie on this subject in which, in the end, one singular man, let's make him the richest man on the planet, is actually in control of EVERY sporting event and controls the billions of dollars of $$$ wagered.

As for reality, still not buying any of this.  Vegas makes money when they have as close to a 50/50 split as possible.  Period.

Also, from a matchup standpoint, this offensive line talk on wisconsin is legitimate, but TCU has 3 seniors starting on their defensive line, along with a stud freshman, avg. about 6' 2" 290 lbs. But one big key I see is that the Wisconsin receivers are not very big, and with all but one player on the TCU side of the ball being over 6 ft tall, I do not think Wisky will be able to expose this #1 ranked TCU defense.

How can you deny the line moving from -1.5 to -3 ------> sharp money

And then 77% on Wisky+3 and the line not moving???

Once again, this is a rare case, just like reverse line movement when Vegas tells their hand.

Everyone knows I don't buy into the line movement conspiracy stuff, but you never know.

I do beleive that what has always been the business model of every sportsbook is that they want 50/50 on each side and make their millions on the VIG.

To me all this is saying is there is still more money on TCU than Wisconsin and they are trying to get to 50/50 on both sides.

Vegas doesn't want to "win or lose" against the gambler they want 50/50 so I just don't beleive they are messing with the line.

Finally nobody knows if it's public money or sharp money....you really don't. There are no records released of "who" played or "how much" someone played. In fact I would be willing to bet that the % that they show of who is on what line is another mind fuck they put out there to heard the sheep towards where they want them to get 50/50.

I'm also on Wisconsin so of course I want you to be wrong

    your 77% isnt accurate
most of the action at the books out here is on TCU-3

    the books need Wisc+3

drose... I know what you are saying but again, Vegas wants an even split so they take the vig as pure profit.

In the end, I agree with your play though and feel TCU wins this game by 8 or so.
