CFL EDM Team QB

I am upset about EDM signing Mcleod Bethel Thompson as QB for the EDM Elks this 2024 season.

Tre Ford earned the starting job this season because of his outstanding play last season.

So, what is going on with this EDM organisation?

Why does Chris Jones keep turning his back on Tre-Ford.

I like Mr. Ford.

What a slap in the face for Mr. Ford.  I would be pissed!

Thompson just moving around making money from league to league.

Well there I said it!

I like Tre-Ford as Edmonton's #1 starting QB. 

He earned it!!

AND he is Canadian!

There I said it again.

Listen..  Whatever Tre-Ford said... that has pissed off Chris Jones for this long... has to end.

This coach needs to end this secret war.  Ford is the future of this franchise.  Not Thompson.

I understand the CFL and the NFL have finally realised Bad QB play = Bad product on the field.  Only having

1 good QB these days is no longer good enough. 

Both leagues have told their respective teams to get more QB's ready to play.

Both the NFL & CFL are doing it!

Too much money involved.  

The Elks are up for sale.

Community ownership simply cannot have another losing year.

The team is up for sale at its lowest point.  Time to buy this team!  Lock it up.

Which group will buy the Elks?

Should be Ryan Reynolds.  Just thinking out loud.

Like I mentioned in another post.  Teams in both leagues need a viable 2nd starting QB.

So EDM goes out and gets Thompson.  so they have 2 good starting QB's.

Smart move.  ............... still this is Tre-Ford's time to shine.  Make the Elks his own team.
