It’s a CFL catfight on Friday, as the BC Lions look for their first win of the season when they visit the Hamilton Tiger-Cats.

The Tabbies found their way into the win column last week with an A+ performance from quaterback Bo Levi Mitchell.

My Lions vs. Tiger-Cats predictions and CFL picks ride with Nathan Rourke, who will not let his team start 0-2.

Lions vs Tiger-Cats prediction

Lions vs Tiger-Cats best bet: Lions moneyline (-110)

This BC Lions secondary was lit up for 412 yards in their opener, but this Hamilton Tiger-Cats pass defense may be in even worse shape.

The Tiger-Cats are allowing 366 passing yards per game and now face Nathan Rourke, who threw for 408 yards and two touchdowns in his last trip to Hamilton and opened this season with 330 yards.

Bo Levi Mitchell can keep pace, but BC still possesses the CFL's most explosive passing attack when Rourke is healthy.

This matchup sets up as another shootout, and I'd back the Lions on the moneyline at anything down to -125.

Lions vs Tiger-Cats same-game parlay

These were the league’s two most potent offenses a year ago, with the Lions putting up 31.1 points per game and Hamilton right behind at 29.2.

A few weeks into 2026, and these teams still haven’t seen an Under. Hamilton has gone Over the total twice, including their 37-27 shootout win over Winnipeg last week.

BC crossed its 52.5-point line against Saskatchewan, and the scoreboard always gets a workout in this matchup. The two teams have combined to cash the Over in five straight, with all five crossing the 58-point line I’ve selected for the SGP.
