The 2025 CFL regular season wraps up on Saturday night with a clash between the BC Lions and Saskatchewan Roughriders.
The Lions would secure home-field advantage in the Western Semi-Final with a win, and they're 8.5-point road favorites. That said, my Lions vs. Roughriders predictions think that books are undervaluing the home team, who have several key players returning to the lineup.

My Lions vs Roughriders pick: Roughriders first quarter moneyline (+160 at BET99)
The BC Lions are 6.5-point favorites in the season finale, which is largely due to perceived motivation. The Leos are looking to lock up second place in the West with a win, while the Saskatchewan Roughriders clinched the No. 1 seed two weeks ago.
With a bye secured before last week's game, the Riders gave half their starters the night off. Despite missing so many key players, Saskatchewan still put up a fight and lost 17-16 on a last-second field goal in Winnipeg.
The Riders have decided to bring back some of their top players this week, since resting them again would result in a three-week layoff and possible rust in the Western Final. That includes star quarterback Trevor Harris, stud running back A.J. Ouellette, and All-Star left tackle Jermacus Hardrick, who all return to the lineup.
I'm not sure how long they'll stay on the field, but they should play long enough for the Riders to be competitive in the first quarter. That gives the home side value on the first-quarter moneyline at +160.

With Harris back in the lineup, Saskatchewan's offense will move the ball against a vulnerable BC defense in the opening quarter. That said, the Leos should be able to put up plenty of early points themselves.
After all, BC's explosive offense leads the CFL in scoring (31.3 ppg) and yards per play (8.01), and Saskatchewan is missing five key starters on defense. Lions pivot Nathan Rourke will be highly motivated to end the season with a statement game and add to his Most Outstanding Player campaign.
