For millions of fans of HBO's award-winning series Game of Thrones, it's been a wild ride since the first episode aired in 2011. For those who have wagered on the betting options that some sportsbooks had for the final season, it's been just as wild with plenty of twists and turns in the last few episodes. With just one episode left on Sunday night, it's time to take a look at the remaining bets for your final wagers in Westeros.

We break down the odds and give you a fan analysis of our final predictions for the series. Keep in mind that depending on your sportsbook, choices and odds can vary greatly for this sort of bet and the wording might differ as well. For example some books say "Who will rule Westeros at the end of Season 8?" while others specify "Who will sit on the Iron Throne?"

Don't forget that the night is dark and full of spoilers so don't continue reading if you aren't up to date on this season.

Ruler of Westeros

Bran Stark 1/1
Jon Snow 2/1
Daenerys Targaryen 4/1
Sansa Stark 5/2
Tyrion Lannister 6/1
Gendry 9/1
Arya Stark 12/1
Jon & Daenerys' Baby 20/1
Samwell Tarly 33/1
Davos 50/1

Analysis: The big bet that has been the most talked about topic since the show began way back in 2010. I've said so before and I'll say it again, I'm really not sure why Bran remains the front-runner. As the "Three-Eyed Raven" he has a wealth of historical knowledge but as he's said so himself many times he isn't really a Stark anymore and in many ways he's trapped in the past and doesn't really live in the present anymore, usually a pretty important prerequisite for a would be ruler.

I've also said that Daenerys is a far better conquerer than ruler and her story arc has long suggested things would go dark for her. That was confirmed last episode with her torching a surrendered Kings Landing. Since the beginning I've been saying that I don't think there will be one ruler of Westeros at the end of the series but if there is it will likely by Jon Snow who seems to have the backing of many powerful allies and a legitimate hereditary claim as well.

But I have another dark horse now as well; Gendry Baratheon, the now legitimized son of the king from season 1 Robert Baratheon. One theme this season seems to embrace, is that history repeats itself and there is no "breaking the wheel". Jaime returned to Cersei, Sandor Celgane fought the zombie that was formerly his brother Gregor, Daenerys became as brutal as her father the Mad King and Jon Snow became Ned Stark - a character too noble for his own good who could do little to prevent a massacre. If that's the case, I could see Jon/Aegon leave for the North like his adopted father before him and let a Baratheon once again sit on the Iron Throne, perhaps once again with an ambitious and beautiful wife (Sansa anyone?) by his side.

That being said, considering that the odds for this bet have massively increased in Bran's favor over the past few weeks (despite the charactor doing virtually nothing) , it seems probable that the ending may have been leaked.

EDIT: Many oddsmakers have pulled this bet off the books which makes it very likely that online leaks have spoiled this result.

First character to perish in final episode

Daenerys Targaryen 1/4
Grey Worm 5/2
Tyrion Lannister 5/1
Arya Stark 6/1
Drogon 8/1
Davos 10/1
Brienne 10/1
Sansa Stark 14/1
Jon Snow 14/1
Gendry 20/1
Tormund Giantsbane 20/1
Samwell Tarly 25/1
Bran Stark 25/1

Analysis: This is an interesting bet and I do think the final episode will be a blood bath with plenty of fan favorites dying. But I don't see Dany dying first, if anything I think she will be the last or second last character to bite the dust.

That look between Jon Snow and Grey Worm before Grey Worm decided to attack the surrendered soldiers in Kings Landing made it pretty apparent that a showdown between the two is likely. I could see the Unsullied warrior dying first but my money for this bet is on Tyrion. He freed his brother last episode (and didn't even try to hide his actions from the guards present) and Daenerys likely has little mercy left. To be fair I don't even think he asks for mercy, he's going to be furious about how things went down and confront Daenerys (more on that later), I can't see him living much longer than that.

Method in which Jon Snow perishes

Survives 2/5
Sword/Dagger 3/1
Axe 6/1
Fire 5/1
Hanging 6/1
Physical force 16/1
Arrow 20/1
Takes own life 20/1
Poison 25/1

Analysis: I personally think Jon Snow survives but at these odds that bet might not even be worth it. If he does die the only way I can see him perishing is against Drogon.

Method in which Daenerys Targaryen perishes

Sword/Dagger 1/2
Survives 3/2
Axe 8/1
Takes own life 10/1
Hanging 10/1
Arrow 16/1
Physical force 20/1
Poison 22/1
Fire 66/1

Analysis: I do think Daenerys dies and leaning towards sword/dagger, perhaps in her back the way her father Aerys was killed as described in the show.

I mentioned Tyrion seems likely to confront Daenerys, I could see him perhaps even killing her and becoming the "Queenslayer" just as his brother became the "Kingslayer" after stabbing Aerys. Most likely though I think Jon or Arya end up with the killing blow against Daenerys and both of them use blades as their weapon of choice.
