Mired in a brutal 10-game losing skid, the Seattle Storm head to Portland on Saturday night desperate for a turn of fortune.
But with the Fire already taking the first two head-to-head meetings, my WNBA picks are laying the points with the home favorite.

Storm vs Fire best bet: Fire -1.5 (+101)
The Seattle Storm haven't won a game in over a month and have already been eliminated from playoff contention.
They have one of the worst offenses in the WNBA, shooting 43.3% from the field and ranking 13th in offensive rating (101.9).
The Portland Fire are coming off a 14-point win over the Toronto Tempo. Offensively, they're hitting 35.3% of their shots from deep, and have put up 94.8 ppg in their last six contests.
At home against a floundering team, I like the Fire to cover at -2.5 or less, with the moneyline also being a strong play.
COVERS INTEL: The Fire force 14.5 turnovers per game, which will wreak havoc on a Storm offense that has a 1.30 assist-to-turnover ratio, third worst in the WNBA.
Storm vs Fire same-game parlay
For my same-game parlay, I'm combining Portland on the moneyline with the Over. The Fire have hit the Over in seven of their last nine games, while Seattle has played to totals of 178 or higher in seven of its last eight contests.
There's enough offense here to cover the total, especially with the Storm allowing 95.9 ppg during their 10-game losing streak.
I'm also taking Bridget Carleton to hit the Over on her rebounding prop. The Portland forward is averaging 4.3 rebounds per game, but has been killing it on the glass lately, grabbing 11 boards in each of her last two games.
Seattle allows opponents to grab 35.6 rebounds per game (second-highest in the league), leaving plenty of room for Carleton to go Over 4.5.

Carla Leite Over 27.5 points + rebounds + assists (-120)
Carla Leite leads the Fire in scoring (15.9 ppg), but she's also found other ways to contribute to the team. She has three double-doubles in her last five games, with double-digit assists complementing her scoring.
Leite has compiled at least 29 PRA in each of her last three games, and she now gets the chance to compete against arguably the worst team in the WNBA at home.
Leite might get very close to her PRA total via scoring alone, and with 8+ assists in four of her last five games, I love her to get Over 27.5 PRA tonight.
