Dominique Malonga already looks like a focal point inside for Seattle, and this matchup sets up well against a Toronto frontcourt that struggled physically in its opener. The Storm have opened the scoring in both games so far, so I expect them to look inside early so Malonga can help Seattle establish control around the rim.

Toronto nearly stole its debut despite shooting just 27% from the floor, but the underlying offensive process still looked shaky for long stretches. The Tempo relied heavily on free throws and transition opportunities, and now face a more disciplined Seattle defense that should force them into uncomfortable half-court possessions far more consistently.

The 6’7 Kamilla Cardoso won the opening tip in Chicago’s opener against Portland, and she should win it against the 6’2 Kiah Stokes tonight. Stokes has lost two straight tips, both against opposing centers 6’6 or taller. Chicago will control the opening possession, and I’ll take Rickea Jackson to get the first bucket. Cardoso attempted the first shot in the opener, but she only took one more shot (15) than Jackson in that game. Both players should see their fair share of looks, with Jackson getting the nod against Golden State.
