We've got a super Sunday on tap, with a huge Liverpool vs. Arsenal clash.
Liverpool haven’t won any of their past three Premier League games, while Arsenal are the Premier League’s form team... and with Man City playing on Saturday, it’s essential for Arsenal that they win here and extend their lead at the top of the table.
Liverpool might not be the monster we’ve seen in previous years, but they are talented enough to make this a potential trap game for Arsenal — with Premier League odds expecting a tight matchup as the home side are slight underdogs.
However, I don't see Arsenal falling for the trap — and I'll explain why in my free betting picks for Liverpool vs. Arsenal.

Liverpool vs Arsenal picks and predictions
This game could decide the destination of this season’s league title. Arsenal held an eight-point lead in the race heading into this weekend and there’s a feeling amongst their fanbase that a win here would probably be enough to put them over the line and send the Premier League trophy to North London for the first time since 2004.
For Jurgen Klopp and Liverpool, this game is an opportunity to prove a point: They have been poor this season and are already eliminated from Champions League play — and face a battle to finish in the Top 4 of the Premier League table.
If they win this game, it makes Champions League action next season more likely and (even more importantly) it could reinvigorate a team that has struggled to get going this season.
The odds are fairly even, with Liverpool at +200 (odds they very rarely see at Anfield) while the draw is +270 and Arsenal are +150 — a good price for a team that has a +43 goal difference and hasn’t lost since mid-February.
Both teams are coming into this with question marks over their health. The Gunners are missing four players, of which William Saliba is the only certain starter, while Liverpool are missing numerous central midfielders and there’s a doubt over whether Virgil van Dijk will be able to play. It’ll boost Arsenal’s chances if the Dutch defender is out — and it’ll add more uncertainty to a back line that hasn't been at its best this year.
Simply put, Arsenal odds of +150 looks like the value here.
First, Liverpool has been in disarray of late, recently getting thumped 4-1 by Arsenal’s title rivals Manchester City last weekend — despite starting that game fairly well. Then you have Arsenal’s great form, winning seven straight EPL matches and losing just three games in the Premier League all season.
Not only that, but they come into this on the back of scoring eight goals in their previous two games and 18 goals in their last five EPL matches. Grab that +150 because it could look real good by the time this game is over.

Liverpool vs Arsenal side analysis
We know how these two teams line up by now, with both Klopp and Mikel Arteta preferring to stick with their proven systems. Klopp’s 4-3-3 will see a familiar back four with Trent Alexander-Arnold and Andrew Robertson at fullbacks with Ibrahima Konate likely to be joined by van Dijk, should he be able to play.
With Naby Keita, Stefan Bajcetic, and Thiago all missing in the middle of the park, it might mean we see Harvey Elliott or Curtis Jones alongside Fabinho and Jordan Henderson in the middle, a midfield three that will have a tough afternoon. Up front, Mo Salah will be partnered by Cody Gakpo and one of Diogo Jota or Darwin Nunez.
Rob Holding will continue in the Arsenal backline with Saliba out and he’ll partner Gabriel Magalhaes. Either side of that duo will be Ben White and Oleksandr Zinchenko, who have both been excellent this year.
The midfield will be anchored by Granit Xhaka and Thomas Partey, who provide the platform on which Arsenal’s attackers can showcase their talents.
Gabriel Jesus will start down the middle and behind him Martin Odegaard, then either side we’ll see Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli, who I expect will get the start over Leandro Trossard.
Liverpool vs Arsenal Over/Under analysis
At -150, you’re not getting much value on the Over 2.5 goals. I’d personally choose to back the Over but it’s really not worth it and I’d rather take Arsenal on the moneyline or even choose a handicap, with Arsenal -1 coming in at +333.
With the likes of Saka and Salah sharing the pitch, we should see plenty of goals and there have been Over 2.5 goals in 65.5% of Arsenal’s games this season, although that drops to just 42.9% when they’re on the road.
As for Liverpool, they've seen the Over 2.5 goals in 53.8% of their games at Anfield and this game really looks like one which should see plenty of goals.
