The FIFA Club World Cup Final takes place at MetLife Stadium on July 13 with Chelsea and PSG battling it out to lift the trophy and pick up that huge cash windfall.

PSG are the team to beat as treble winners and reigning European champions, but Chelsea’s winning history speaks for itself, with another trophy under their belt this season.

This should be an incredible game, and my FIFA Club World Cup free picks have broken down three props you need for Sunday afternoon.

Best FIFA Club World Cup player props today

  • Dembele anytime goal (-125)
  • Pedro o0.5 SOT (-130)
  • PSG win + Chelsea u0.5 goals (+190)

PSG vs Chelsea props for July 13

Ousmane Dembele anytime goal (-125 at BetRivers)

Winning the Club World Cup would almost certainly push Ousmane Dembele closer to winning the Ballon d’Or this season, but in truth, the Frenchman likely has the award sewn up already.

He’s had a blockbuster season for PSG, and despite having been a huge star since he was a teenager, it now feels like he’s truly arrived and delivered upon his potential. He’s stepped out from the shadow of former teammate Kylian Mbappe and rewarded his club with 35 goals this season.

Dembele came into this competition injured and missed the first three games before being slowly reintroduced to the team. That saw him make cameos from the bench against Inter Miami and Bayern Munich before getting his first Club World Cup start against Real Madrid in the semifinals.

That game that saw him tear Los Blancos to shreds, racking up a goal and an assist before being withdrawn in the 59th minute to stay fresh for this game.

Dembele comes into this well-rested, with two goals in his past two games, and he's likely full of confidence. With his speed on the break and his improved finishing, he’s PSG’s danger man on Sunday and the player most likely to break Chelsea hearts.

Joao Pedro Over 0.5 shots on target (-130 at FanDuel)

It’s been clear for a long time that Chelsea needed a striker.

Chelsea’s last elite striker was Diego Costa, and the Brazilian-born Spanish international left in 2017. Chelsea have attempted to fix that problem this summer with the signings of Liam Delap and Joao Pedro, signed from Ipswich and Brighton, respectively.

The Chelsea team had looked improved with Delap up front, but since the arrival of Joao Pedro, they look even better.

It feels like Pedro has been around forever, having first tasted Premier League action with Watford in the 2019-20 season, but he has really shone since playing for the Seagull and then earning a move to London.

He scored 10 times last season and has already looked hugely dangerous in the Chelsea set-up. He had an exciting cameo from the bench on his debut against Palmeiras, taking two shots, one of which was on target.

That earned him the start for the semifinal against Fluminense and he was superb, converting two of his three shots for goals, including a beautiful curled shot from outside the box.

That’s now three shots on target in 96 minutes for Pedro, and we have to back him to get a shot on target here, even against a superior PSG defense.

PSG to win + Chelsea Under 0.5 goals (+190 at BetMGM)

Under 0.5 goals for Chelsea looks like a great value bet. Fortunately, a couple of sportsbooks also allow us to parlay it with PSG to win to get even more bang for your buck.

As well as Chelsea have done to reach the Club World Cup final, we need to consider that they’ve faced just one European team, a mediocre Benfica. They took on LAFC, ES Tunis, and three Brazilian clubs to reach this point.

Those teams are nowhere near at the level of PSG, who are the best team on the planet right now, as evidenced by their dismantling of everyone they faced in the Champions League this season.

PSG faced genuine European heavyweights in Atletico Madrid, Real Madrid and Bayern Munich en route to the Final have faced just one Brazilian side in Botafogo with two MLS teams in the Seattle Sounders and Inter Miami. Across those six games, they’ve scored 16 goals and conceded just one.

They have the best attack in the world, full of pace and guile, and they have a defense that have kept five clean sheets in six games so far.

As much as Chelsea have looked good at times, and Joao Pedro looks like a great addition to their frontline, there’s a far higher chance of a PSG shutout than the odds suggest.

PSG kept Harry Kane and his Bayern side quiet, and did the same to Kylian Mbappe and Real Madrid team. They have a good chance of doing it to Chelsea too.
