My Czechia vs England top pick: England wins by more than 1.5 goals (45% probability)
England’s 3-2 defeat to Spain showed their defensive shortcomings, but manager Thomas Tuchel can at least take solace in their attack.
Anthony Gordon was exceptional on the left flank, and not just because he scored. Gordon’s ability to carry the ball forward, something he did 13 times against Spain, creates openings for his team. On Tuesday he’ll be matched up against Vladimir Coufal. At 34, Coufal isn’t as quick as during his prime, and he'll struggle against Gordon’s directness.
If Gordon can hit the byline, he can play the ball back to Harry Kane, who has already scored five times for club and country this season. Alternatively, Gordon can cut back inside and play the ball to England’s advancing midfielders.
My Czechia vs England Over/Under pick: Over 2.5 goals (57% probability)
The addition of Myles Lewis-Skelly into midfield gives England a player who can transition the ball centrally from deep, something that’ll help break a Czechia defense that sits back, which should contribute to England scoring multiple times.
The Czechs will also be confident of scoring after seeing England’s performance against Spain. Tuchel still doesn’t seem to know his best back four and goalkeeper, but the lack of communication between James Trafford and the central defenders on Saturday was the cause of at least one goal. That's something a busy Czechia attack can pounce on quickly.

Kane and Bellingham offer England a lethal goal threat, and with the pace of Gordon and Bukayo Saka on the flanks, the English can break down a defense that struggled to stop a sluggish, aging Croatia team.
It isn’t all good news for the Three Lions. Their poor defensive form has been continuing after conceding in six straight games.
