Chelsea will get their first of two cracks at silverware to close out the season as they face Leicester City in the FA Cup Final at Wembley on Saturday.

The Blues have enjoyed a fantastic turn since Thomas Tuchel took over for Frank Lampard as manager, and will see Manchester City in the Champions League Final later in May. Leicester City, meanwhile, are reaching the end of a charmed campaign that should see them finish in the Top-4.

Here are our best FA Cup Final predictions and soccer betting picks for Chelsea vs. Leicester City on Saturday, May 15, with kickoff set for 12:15 p.m. ET.

Chelsea vs Leicester City betting preview

Injuries

Chelsea: Mateo Kovacic (Questionable), N'Golo Kante (Questionable), Andreas Christensen (Questionable).
Leicester City: James Justin (Out), Harvey Barnes (Out), Wes Morgan (Out), Jonny Evans (Questionable), Ricardo Pereira (Probable).

Side pick

Chelsea have been in excellent form since Tuchel took over as manager, with the Blues' 2-0 loss to Leicester City in January the final Premier League game Lampard oversaw. A poor 1-0 loss to Arsenal last week ended a magical spell, during which Chelsea knocked Manchester City out of the FA Cup, dominated Real Madrid over two legs to advance to the Champions League final and suffered just one loss in 16 Premier League games under Tuchel.

Leicester City earned a massive win themselves this week, knocking off Manchester United at Old Trafford to all but secure a Top-4 finish in the Prem this season. However, that unconvincing win came against a reserve Man U side. More telling was the Foxes' performance just a few days prior, when they were torn apart by Newcastle United in a 4-2 defeat.

While Chelsea, with Timo Werner upfront, may not have a finisher as clinical as Newcastle's Callum Wilson, their attacking talent is incomparable. Kai Havertz and Hakim Ziyech have rounded into form at just the right time for their new club, with Tuchel finally maximizing his squad in attack and in defense.

Leicester have enjoyed an admirable season, with a Top-4 finish and a trip to Wembley serving as a great success for a club of their stature. However, unfortunately, they are running into perhaps the most in-form club in the world and one that boasts considerably more talent.

PICK: Chelsea (-115)

Over/Under pick

There is no bigger injury hanging over this cup final than Leicester center-back Jonny Evans and a sore heel that has kept him out of the Foxes' last two matches. A late withdrawal last Friday saw Leicester's backline left in shambles, as they shipped four to a timid Newcastle side.

While it does sound as if Evans will be fit to play, Leicester must be worried about the pace of an already relatively slow-footed pair of Evans and Caglar Söyüncü against a rapid Chelsea attack, especially if Evans is not yet 100 percent.

Though Chelsea have often appeared to lack a clinical finisher this season, the Blues have created chances at an elite rate this season, with the third-highest xG among Premier League teams. There have been signs that their attackers are finding form at the perfect time, too. Werner is starting to increase his final product, with two goals and two assists in his last five appearances, while Havertz has netted twice and added an assist over his last three appearances.

So, while both Chelsea and Leicester have been steady at the back all season, Leicester will be able to do little to keep Chelsea out in this one. With the Foxes opening up as a result, there will be a high chance of goals going both ways.

PICK: Over 2.5 (+113)

Player prop pick

Despite a reputation as one of Lampard's favorites and not a player who had their starting place on merit, few players have played as well under Tuchel as Mason Mount. The young English midfielder has been fantastic over the last few months, with his growing influence best exemplified in Chelsea's dominant semifinal against Real Madrid.

While the Blues were held to a clean sheet in their last match against Leicester City, they created plenty of chances, with Mount heavily involved, creating five chances and driving forward into space even more often (credited with seven ball progressions). Chelsea are considerably more clinical at the moment, with Mount at the center of things.
