The New York Rangers and the Florida Panthers collide in Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Final on Sunday afternoon, with the Rangers riding high off a 2-1 overtime win to knot the series at 1-1.

My NHL picks are focusing on a trio of Blueshirts as I combine three player props into a reasonable same-game parlay for this affair.

Rangers vs Panthers same-game parlay picks May 26

  • Adam Fox Under 0.5 points
  • Vincent Trocheck Over 0.5 points
  • Igor Shesterkin Over 29.5 saves

Best Rangers vs Panthers SGP for Sunday

Adam Fox Under 0.5 points

Vincent Trocheck Over 0.5 points

Igor Shesterkin Over 29.5 saves

Adam Fox has been largely ineffective for the New York Rangers this postseason, scoring no goals and tallying only five assists through 12 games. Friday's game was just the second time Fox even registered more than two shots on goal in the 2024 playoffs.

Fox runs the show from the point on the Rangers' power play, but the Florida Panthers' penalty kill has been razor-sharp of late, stopping 24 of their opponents' last 25 chances. New York went 0-for-4 with the man advantage on Friday, bringing their current cold spell on the power play to 1-for-16.

The Rangers going without a power-play goal would hurt the chances of Vincent Trocheck picking up a point, but he's been the Blueshirts' most effective player at even strength of late. He's pacing New York in shots (37) and points (16) in these playoffs while scoring a co-best seven goals (tied with Chris Kreider).

The veteran center is part of one of the best lines in hockey with Artemi Panarin and Alexis Lafreniere, and his ability to win faceoffs is highly valued by head coach Peter Laviolette, leading to extra shifts for Trocheck.

Home/road splits suggest Igor Shesterkin will be working hard on Sunday afternoon.

The Panthers have been highly effective at controlling the flow of play at home this postseason, outshooting the opposition 34.2 to 24.3. The Rangers have been just the opposite on the road, getting outshot 33.8 to 23.8. The splits from the regular season are less dramatic, but they still suggest that the puck will be glued to Florida's sticks at times, as it outshot opponents 35 to 27.5 at home while New York was outshot 30.8 to 30.5.
