The Calgary Flames are battling for playoff position and have gotten a few steps closer thanks to a 5-2-0 run over their last seven games.
Rasmus Andersson has been a big part of the club’s recent success with seven points during that stretch, but he’s also been one of the Flames’ most reliable shooters.
Andersson, who is logging a team-high 24:08 of ice time per game this season, has recorded Over 2.5 shots in seven straight contests. He’ll look to make it eight straight against the Vegas Golden Knights, who have surrendered 30+ shots in two of their last four outings.
It’s not just a recent trend, either – Andersson’s 90 shots this season rank fifth among all blueliners and third on Calgary behind only forwards Nazem Kadri (113) and Matt Coronato (95).
