Kings vs Rangers

Player prop: Gabe Perreault Over 1.5 shots

Todd Cordell's Kings vs. Rangers predictions target Perreault after a line change lifted his five-on-five shot rate from 4.05 to 10.06 per 60 minutes. Playing opposite Alexis Lafreniere has boosted his volume, and Cordell would back Over 1.5 shots up to 56%.

Goal scorer: Pavel Dorofeyev anytime goal

"Dorofeyev scored 92 goals on 72 expected over the first few years of his career. In simpler terms, he found the net more often than ‘deserved’ because he has a lethal shot and converts at a higher rate than normal.

He has scored only three times this season but, more importantly, he has generated 6.0 expected goals.

Dorofeyev has proven to be a high-end finisher over nearly 250 games. This dry spell is but a blip on the radar.

Los Angeles sits 22nd in team save percentage and has subpar goaltending, which could help Dorofeyev get back on track."

Maple Leafs vs Flames

  • Time: 8:30 p.m. ET

  • Analyst: Neil Parker

Player prop: Easton Cowan 2+ shot

Neil Parker's Maple Leafs vs. Flames predictions back Cowan's steady shooting alongside Auston Matthews.

"It’s been a breakout start for Cowan, and he’s been a consistent source of shots for Toronto, so I recommend this prop up to 56%.

Cowan has also clicked with No. 1 center Auston Matthews, and the duo have been on the ice for a 50.3 CF% and 53.4% shot share at 5-on-5.

Of course, the Flames have also allowed the fifth-most shots per game."

Goal scorer: Auston Matthews anytime goal

"This goal prop is in play up to 46% because Matthews paces the Maple Leafs in individual expected goals and high-danger scoring chances while finding the back of the net in eight of 13 games to start the year.

Calgary also has an unsustainably high .962 team save percentage with 8.54 goals saved above expected during its three-game winning streak."

Red Wings vs Oilers

  • Time: 9:30 p.m. ET
  • TV: ESPN+, SN+, TVAS
  • Analyst: Luc LeBlanc

Player prop: Connor McDavid 2+ assists

Luc LeBlanc's Red Wings vs. Oilers preview targets McDavid against a Detroit penalty kill operating at 65.8%.

"McDavid is putting up video-game numbers and has more assists than any other player has points this season. That's Gretzky-esque.

No. 97 is averaging three points per game nearly a month into the season. He and the Oilers' league-best power play have a fantastic opportunity tonight against a Red Wings team that ranks 19th in penalty minutes per game (10.2) and sports the 30th-ranked penalty kill (65.8%).

This prop is trading at just 36% despite its 72.7% hit rate in 2026-27."

Goal scorer: Leon Draisaitl anytime goal

"With McDavid picking up helpers at a ludicrous pace, someone has to be finding the back of the net regularly. Look no further than Leon Draisaitl.

The four-time 50-goal man has 12 goals in 11 games and has scored in six straight. Additionally, his six power-play goals lead the league, and he has five in the last week alone."
