The NFL helps you get through another Monday with an NFC East engagement between the Dallas Cowboys and Philadelphia Eagles.

The Week 7 finale is the perfect setting for my Cowboys vs. Eagles combos. I’m tying my favorite NFL picks together for Monday Night Football on Oct. 26.

Cowboys vs Eagles combo

The Philadelphia Eagles are home underdogs with injuries on offense and a backup under center. However, this Philly defense is still a force, and the return of Saquon Barkley helps keep things close on MNF.

George Pickens burned this Eagles team in their most recent meeting, including scoring a touchdown last November. The Cowboys are trying to get him involved early on, and nothing gets the juices flowing like finding pay dirt.

Tanner McKee was solid in his Week 6 start and has been building chemistry with this offense over the past week.

The market perception for Philly’s backup QB isn’t as big a drop as it appears, with QB1 Jalen Hurts’ struggling to start the season. Given the dreadful Dallas defense, McKee can connect for two touchdown passes tonight.

We’ve already talked about Pickens, who should thrive against Philadelphia's heavier man coverage. Let’s talk about the Eagles getting into the end zone.

Tight end Dallas Goedert is the backup QB's safety blanket. Goedert moves up the depth chart with injuries to the Eagles' receiving corps and could put a belated TD capper on “Nation Tight Ends Day” in Week 7.

Makai Lemon also benefits from Philadelphia's missing targets. Nick Sirianni was asked if this was the week he lets Lemon loose, and the head coach may not have a choice. Lemon has explosive potential and can find space against this Swiss cheese Cowboys secondary.

Cowboys vs Eagles milestone combo

Lemon has seen a jump in targets, even with the moves at QB, and he’s been especially good at making tacklers miss. Dallas’ secondary is soft, giving up a ton of explosive plays of 20+ yards, and the defense ranks near the bottom of the NFL in missed tackles.

Javonte Williams was a big part of the passing game early on, but some negative game scripts have dug into his snaps. With Dallas laying points on the road, the RB is on the field more and acting as a check-down against this Eagles pass pressure.

McKee isn’t known as a running threat but a backup with holes in his depth chart will sometimes have to tuck and run when plays break down. The Cowboys have actually allowed the most rushing yards to quarterbacks, with less-mobile QBs like C.J. Stroud and Jordan Love getting gains on the ground.
