The Toronto Maple Leafs have had Calgary’s number of late, and the hometown hero William Nylander has been a catalyst in this matchup.

My Maple Leafs vs. Flames predictions expect him to come up big again tonight.

Maple Leafs vs Flames best bet: William Nylander to score (+175)

The Toronto Maple Leafs continue their road trip out west with a stop in Calgary, Alberta, tonight, the hometown of William Nylander

Toronto has won seven straight meetings against the Calgary Flames dating back to December 2022.

Nylander has been a big catalyst in those wins with eight goals and 18 points in that stretch, including a hat trick in his last trip to the Saddledome last February.

The Leafs winger was held off the scoresheet in his return to the lineup in Vancouver, but Nylander did register five shots in the win, being for more aggressive shooting than he had been all season.

The scoring bug was just starting to get going for Nylander, too, before getting hurt. Prior to his injury, the skilled Swede had scored six goals in six games.

The value at +175 to score is too good to pass up, especially against a Flames team that’s 1-3-1 over their last five games, with an .877 team save percentage.

Maple Leafs vs Flames same-game parlay

Let’s also continue to ride the hot stick of Max Domi. The Leafs forward is riding an eight-game point streak, which means he’s gone over his point total in eight straight games, primarily playing on the top line with some power play duties sprinkled in.

I'll also take the Over on Auston Matthews’ shot prop, which is set at 3.5. He’s gone over that number in back-to-back games and four of his last six outings.

Additionally, the Flames allow the 11th most shots on goal per game, including 37 shots against the Buds in their previous October meeting this season.
