It's a four-game Wednesday slate, and if you like +EV point props, today is the day to dig in with my NHL predictions. With some injuries, back-to-back sets, and mispriced props, it's going to be a good Wednesday on the ice and for NHL picks.
Jamie Drysdale finally snapped out of his slump and is producing with big minutes on Philadelphia's blue line. The Colorado game could feature two of my favourite mispriced wingers for points, and Jack Roslovic might see an increase in playing time tonight.
These are my favourite predictions for Wednesday, Oct. 28.

Pick #1: Jamie Drysdale Over 0.5 points
The Philadelphia Flyers are playing the second half of a back-to-back set and are being heavily discounted because of that. However, this offense can score, and Jamie Drysdale is playing significant minutes and getting time on the top power-play unit.
He's recorded points in three straight games, including two power-play points. The matchup against Washington gives him an opportunity to keep that run going.
The Flyers rank better than the Washington Capitals in expected goals against per 60 minutes at all strengths this season, despite their rough start. Washington is an overvalued team in this market, and I'd play this to 47%.
Our Neil Parker provides more angles for this game in his Flyers vs. Capitals prediction.

Pick #2: Artturi Lehkonen + Arseny Gritsyuk Over 0.5 points each
This is a clash of two mispriced point props. Artturi Lehkonen will pop up in my NHL best bets regularly, and rightfully so. He's near even money to record a point despite playing 18-plus minutes on the top line, riding a seven-game point streak, and sitting third in the league with 10 goals this season. Lehkonen not playing on the top power-play unit is likely why his point prop is priced this way, but the Avalanche have been struggling with the man advantage anyway.
Arseny Gritsyuk is in the same tier as Lehkonen, just without the 18-plus minutes. The New Jersey Devils winger is playing on the top line with Jack Hughes and has tallied points in six straight games and eight of his last nine. He's priced at 2.45x on his own to record a point, which is great value ahead of a matchup that could feature plenty of two-way scoring.
Both guys are green lights as solo bets, but getting 5x for these two top-line wingers to extend their point streaks is my favourite play of the day. I have this combo priced closer to 28%.

Pick #3: Jack Roslovic Over 0.5 points
The top-line winger faces a significant opportunity today. He's already recorded points in four straight games and eight of his last 11. If the Toronto Maple Leafs make a change to their top power-play unit, Jack Roslovic could benefit from additional opportunities. The matchup against the Seattle Kraken is favourable, as they rank 27th in penalty-kill efficiency and 29th in expected goals against per 60 minutes. Even without a power-play promotion, I still love this price.
He's been a great stack with Easton Cowan, which is available at 3x today and is also on my card. Roslovic played nearly 19 minutes last game, including time on the top power-play unit. This is another mispriced top-line player in a matchup that smells like an Over for the Leafs, who are 9-5 to the Over this season.
If Roslovic stays on the first power-play unit, this should be a 61% point prop.
