You usually lose everything after you get to Vegas. But not the Los Angeles Rams.

Los Angeles comes to Sin City already light on talent, with a series of injuries leaving it shorthanded for Sunday’s non-conference contest with the Las Vegas Raiders.

Despite that, L.A. is a road favorite for this 4:25 p.m. ET Week 7 kickoff.

My Rams vs. Raiders predictions dig into the injuries and opening odds, giving you my early leans and NFL picks for Sunday, Oct. 25.

Early Rams vs Raiders spread pick: Raiders +4.5

The Los Angeles Rams have taken hits on both sides of the ball, with key offensive and defensive contributors out for Week 7. That list includes WR Davante Adams, DL Poona Ford, and replacement kicker Blake Grupe.

A Swiss-cheese depth chart compounds a 2-4 record, yet oddsmakers aren’t selling the Rams off just yet. The visitors are laying 4.5 points in Sin City, which can be a tough spread to cover on the other side of four, an undervalued key number.

The Las Vegas Raiders have dropped three straight games but have been a much more competitive team at home. They're 3-0 against the spread inside the Death Star, with an average scoring margin of +2.7 points.

Las Vegas has held its own against the NFL’s elite, taking the fight to Kansas City and Buffalo. The Raiders’ passing game has been efficient and effective at moving the chains, ranking second in passing success rate and fifth in passing first downs per game (14.2).

Early Rams vs Raiders total pick: Over 47.5

The Raiders have picked up their passing in the last three outings, dropping back on more than 67% of snaps. That’s comparable to the Rams’ passing play percentage, which sits at 67.8% in their last three showings.

Both offenses play with pace, sitting top 8 in play clock used per snap. The Rams and Raiders are also comfortable turning up the intensity with higher rates of no-huddle used, both sitting in the Top 10 in hurry-up.

The last four games have been absolute shootouts for the Silver and Black, topping the total in each outing. Before Sunday’s dud against Arizona, L.A. had also gone Over the number in three straight.

I like the Over with this total coming down from an opener of 48.5 and sitting between two key numbers at 47.5 O/U.
