Packers vs Vikings Best bet: Under 36.5 (-111)
The Green Bay Packers have already locked down the No. 7 seed in the NFC, and they'll sit Jordan Love here as he continues to recover from a concussion.
Meanwhile, the Minnesota Vikings are out of the playoff picture despite their four-game winning run, and J.J. McCarthy is expected to play after recovering from an injury.
Clayton Tune has little NFL experience, and I’m not exactly expecting him to light it up offensively. McCarthy hasn’t played in a couple of weeks as well, and he’s been relatively inconsistent when available.
Both starting running backs are also sidelined, as Josh Jacobs and Aaron Jones are injured. Hammer the Under.
Packers vs Vikings same-game parlay
McCarthy has finished Under his passing yards total in four of his last five contests. Last time out, he threw for just 108 yards despite the Vikings still earning the win.
Justin Jefferson has struggled to find chemistry with McCarthy this season, and the numbers reflect that. While he’s on the verge of another 1,000-yard campaign, the star wideout has just two touchdowns and hasn’t been heavily involved of late.
Jefferson has also hit the Under on his receiving yards in four of his last five appearances. On Christmas, he managed only four catches for 30 yards and has totaled just two receptions in three of his past five games.

The Vikings are a heavy -500 moneyline favorite, which clearly offers no value. However, they’re definitely healthier than the Packers right now, and they’ve won four straight. The Packers are already the No. 7 seed in the NFC. Minnesota should win this.

Minnesota is also laying 8.5 points on the spread. They’ve covered that line in two of their four game during this unbeaten run, most recently taking down the Lions by 13 points last weekend. In fact, in both of those games where they covered this spread, the Vikings were also playing at home. They should cover again.

As previously mentioned, the Under is set at only 36.5. Again, the Packers do not have much to work with offensively right now as they rest up for the playoffs, while the Vikings aren’t exactly lighting up the scoresheet, either. It’ll be a cagey game.
