An AFC East rivalry will kick off Week 11’s NFL action with the New England Patriots playing host to the New York Jets, who are on a rare two-game win streak.
The Patriots are the biggest favorite of the week, coming in at -13 tonight, while the game has a total of 43.
While it’s always tempting to fade either of New York’s football teams, my Jets vs. Patriots predictions see a higher scoring game than the total indicates.
Here’s my NFL picks for Thursday Night Football on November 13.
Kickoff is set for 8:25 p.m. ET at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, with the game airing on Prime Video.

Jets vs Patriots prediction
Jets vs Patriots Best bet: Over 43 (-110)
High-scoring football and the New York Jets typically aren’t two things that associate with each other, but they’ve actually been a rock-solid Over bet going back to last season as it’s hit in 12 of their last 16 games.
This season, Jets games have averaged 48.5 points, with six of nine topping Thursday's mark of 43.
Recent scoring patterns in New England Patriots games also support the Over, as they’ve averaged 28.75 points per game over their last four. Seeing them cross the 30-point mark shouldn’t surprise anyone, especially with the Jets waving the white flag and offloading Sauce Gardner and Quinnen Williams at the trade deadline.
It’s not hard to make a case for New England and MVP-favorite quarterback Drake Maye lighting up the scoreboard, but bettors shouldn’t be surprised to see the Jets contribute to the scoring.
New York has surprisingly had four separate games this season where they’ve scored at least 27 points. The Patriots defense has been especially vulnerable in the red zone, where they rank dead last in opponent red-zone touchdown conversion percentage.
Getting to the red zone could be a challenge for the Jets, but New England does allow a lot of big chunk plays through the air, surrendering the third-most pass plays of 20 or more yards.
This total of 43 is too short considering both teams' recent form. The Patriots offense has found its rhythm, while the Jets have quietly been involved in plenty of high-scoring games.
Jets vs Patriots TNF same-game parlay
Maye has been doing damage through the air and on the ground, topping 238.5 passing yards in five of his last six games while logging at least seven rush attempts in five straight. His dual-threat ability keeps defenses off balance and opens up plenty of scoring chances near the goal line.
That’s where Hunter Henry comes in, as one of Maye’s go-to red zone targets against a Jets defense that's allowed seven touchdowns to the tight end position.
Jets vs Patriots SGP
- Drake Maye Over 238.5 passing yards
- Drake Maye Over 5.5 rushing attempts
- Hunter Henry anytime touchdown
Our big-ticket SGP: A recipe for scoring
New England has scored 15+ points in seven straight games, while the Jets are having a lot of success finding the end zone lately with 66 points across their last two games.
Jets vs Patriots SGP
- Drake Maye Over 238.5 passing yards
- Drake Maye Over 5.5 rushing attempts
- Hunter Henry anytime touchdown
- Both teams to score 15+ points

Jets vs Patriots moneyline prediction
Every team is prone to a letdown spot, but the way this Patriots team is rolling, I don’t think they’ll lose as a -850 moneyline favorite.
While the Jets can maybe avoid getting embarrassed, they’d need an unrealistic number of breaks to actually win outright.
Jets vs Patriots spread prediction
The Jets might still be a punchline in 2025, but they’ve been scrappy as five of seven losses have been by one score, and they’re coming off back-to-back inspired wins over the Bengals and Browns.
Despite having nothing to play for, the effort remains strong, and their defense quietly stacks up well against New England’s, so I can see them keeping this game from getting too out of hand.
Jets vs Patriots Over/Under prediction
Twelve of the Jets’ last 16 games have gone Over, while the Patriots are on a four-game Over streak fueled by a red-hot offense averaging 26.5 points per game.
With New England’s defense giving up explosive plays and struggling in the red zone, this number feels too low given each team's scoring patterns.
Jets vs Patriots odds
- Spread: New York +13 (-110) | New England -13 (-110)
- Moneyline: New York +575 | New England -850
- Over/Under: Over 43 (-110) | Under 43 (-110)

Jets vs Patriots latest injuries
Patriots rookie running back TreVeyon Henderson enters Thursday night’s matchup with the Jets officially healthy after briefly appearing on this week’s injury report with a sore knee. He tweaked the knee late in Sunday’s breakout performance against Tampa Bay but was able to finish the game, then logged limited work in Monday’s walkthrough before being removed from the final report.
With Rhamondre Stevenson ruled out again, Henderson is fully expected to play and handle lead-back duties, with Terrell Jennings and possibly D’Ernest Johnson rotating in behind him for change-of-pace and pass-protection snaps. Barring a setback in warmups, he’ll start tonight.
Jets vs Patriots weather
Temperatures at Gillette Stadium will tumble from the low 40s°F around kickoff into the upper 30s as the game wears on, under partly cloudy skies with only a slight chance of lingering showers early.
Winds should be light to moderate, likely in the 5–10 mph range, so we’re not looking at a classic Foxborough wind game, and there’s no meaningful threat of snow or heavy rain based on current forecasts. The air will feel chilly and damp, but overall, conditions are on the favorable side for mid-November football.
This setup should keep most of each team’s playbook wide open. With no driving rain or strong wind, both offenses should be able to throw downfield without the ball dying in the air or sailing unpredictably. Kicking and punting conditions look relatively stable, so long field-goal attempts are more “coaching decision” than “weather roulette.”
The main impact will be ball handling. In the cold, the ball firms up and can be tougher to grip, so receivers have to be sharp at the catch point. Late in the game, defensive players often hit harder in the cold and fumbles can spike when ball carriers are tired and their hands numb a bit, so whichever team protects the ball better in these conditions could steal an extra possession that swings the outcome.
