Prime-time games used to promise a high probability of football fireworks, but the last few standalone slots have barely lit up the scoreboard.

Luckily, we’ve got Thursday Night Football NFL picks to keep things interesting when the teams can’t.

This mid-week AFC East matchup between the New York Jets and New England Patriots isn’t the sexiest showcase – with the Patriots laying double digits – but there are plenty of NFL player props to wager on.

I run down the prop markets for my best Jets vs. Patriots predictions and NFL picks on November 13.

Jets vs Patriots TNF props

Player Pick bet365
Jets Breece Hall Over 2.5 Receptions +120
Patriots Stefon Diggs Over Longest Reception 21.5 Yards -110
Patriots Hunter Henry Anytime Touchdown +160

Breece Hall Over 2.5 receptions (+120)

With WR1 Garrett Wilson out of action and Justin Fields just not throwing beyond the sticks, running back Breece Hall could be the New York Jets' best pass-catching option tonight.

Gang Green goes up against the New England Patriots' stingy run-stopping unit, which has slammed the door on rival RBs all season. And with gains on the ground hard to come by, Jets head coach Aaron Glen knows he has to find other ways to get Hall involved.

“Breece can do all that. Not just that, but you can line him out as a receiver and allow him to go to work,” Glenn told reporters. “He can catch it out of the backfield and do some things. He has all those capabilities to make an explosive play any time you get the ball in his hands. Trust me, we try to use him as much as we can.”

Hall was used more in the passing game earlier in the season, but has seen his targets dwindle over the past three outings. Even with limited looks from Fields, Hall took his only reception 42 yards for a touchdown in last week’s win over Cleveland.

On the season, Hall has drawn three or more passes in seven of his nine games. And with the Patriots shutting down the run, opponents have targeted their RBs a league-high 71 times for 61 total receptions from the position.

Player projections for Hall lean toward three receptions on TNF, with most models on the other side of the 2.5 O/U. At plus money and with an emphasis on his involvement in the passing attack, there’s great value on Over 2.5 receptions.

Stefon Diggs longest reception Over 21.5 yards (-110)

Veteran wideout Stefon Diggs is enjoying life in this Patriots passing game and steps up the depth chart with fellow WR Kayshon Boutte potentially out of action once again. Boutte is the best deep threat in the NFL, according to PFF, but Diggs could hit some “home runs” against this Jets defense.

New York’s secondary is “sans Sauce” after the trade deadline and could be without starting CB Azareye'h Thomas (concussion). Glenn’s man-heavy schemes are ripe for Diggs to do damage against, as he ranks among the top WRs in one-on-one coverage.

New York has given up 25 passing plays of 20 or more yards this season, but hasn’t faced a QB with an arm like Drake Maye's in a while, taking on passive passing attacks like Cleveland, Cincinnati, Carolina, and Denver the past four games. Earlier in the year, the Jets were roasted by downfield throws from Dallas, Tampa Bay, and Buffalo.

Diggs is averaging 11.1 yards per reception and has posted longs of 21 yards or more in four of his last seven games.

Hunter Henry anytime touchdown (+160)

The Patriots have plenty of weapons on the fence when it comes to this mid-week matchup. Boutte, RB Rhamondre Stevenson, and TE Austin Hooper all run the risk of sitting out Week 11.

As of this writing, TE Hunter Henry is priced at +160 to score a touchdown, but with those other options trending toward being out – especially Hooper – his ATTD ask will only get greater.

Hunter has four touchdowns on the season and has drawn nine red-zone targets – seventh among tight ends. He’s logged the sixth-most snaps for this position and has a target share north of 17% on the season.

New England takes on a Jets defense that has been tortured by TE touchdowns in 2025, allowing seven scores to the position – most recently surrendering a touchdown to Cleveland TE David Njoku in Week 10.

Other books have Hunter to score a TD as low as +135, but you can get him at +160 at bet365.
