TD prop #1: Jonathan Taylor first TD scorer

+245 at DraftKings

If you’re looking for big odds, then betting on Jonathan Taylor to score first isn’t going to give you that. However, it’s really difficult to look anywhere else on Sunday’s slate and feel quite as confident in a player scoring as Taylor.

Not only are the Tennessee Titans a bad football team, but they are exceptionally bad against running backs. This season, they’ve given up 11 touchdowns to the position in just seven games, and Taylor will be licking his lips at a chance to face their defense.

Taylor is in incredible form with 11 touchdowns already this season, a run that’s seen him score seven times in the past three games alone.

TD prop #2: Christian McCaffrey first TD scorer

+360 at DraftKings

We’re going for another more obvious pick here, but Christian McCaffrey really should open the scoring for the San Francisco 49ers against the Houston Texans. This is a game that’s seen the Texans move into favorites, and it’ll be Mac Jones under center once again.

The reality is that it’s almost irrelevant who is at quarterback on this team; it’s the CMC show.

The 49ers offense runs through their running back, and although he hasn’t hit Taylor’s numbers just yet, with only six touchdowns, it’s still an average that is only just under one per game. He’s now scored in four straight games and is getting a serious workload, with 17 or more carries in all but one game this season and seven or more targets in every game.

The Texans are still giving up more than a TD per game to running backs, six in seven games, and CMC has a very strong chance of opening the scoring.

TD prop #3: Noah Fant first TD scorer

+1200 at DraftKings

Joe Flacco at quarterback of this Cincinnati Bengals team looks far more frisky than under Jake Browning, and given the Jets' struggles, this feels like a game that Cincy should win. That leads us to the other sideline and Noah Fant, who really feels like a strong choice to open the scoring here at big odds.

You’re getting +1400 on Fant scoring first here, despite the Jets allowing the second-most touchdowns to tight ends behind the Bengals. He’s also looked like a dangerous piece of the offense with Flacco under center.

Catching eight of eight targets in the two games they’ve played so far, and scoring a touchdown. With the defense focusing on Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins, it opens the door for Fant.
