It’s a classic AFC North showdown between the Pittsburgh Steelers and Cincinnati Bengals on Thursday Night Football to kick-start Week 7.

My favorite Steelers vs. Bengals predictions and anytime touchdown picks trust a pair of WR1 for the divisional tilt on Thursday, October 16.

Steelers anytime touchdown pick

DK Metcalf (+135 at bet365)

Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Aaron Rodgers has looked to top wide receiver DK Metcalf for a team-high 31 targets and 23.1% target share. Metcalf has also scored in four consecutive games and sports a league-high 11.6 yards after the catch per reception.

This matchup checks out, too. The Cincinnati defense has surrendered a healthy 8.36 yards per target to opposing wideouts and ranks 26th in PFF coverage grade with the fifth-worst DVOA against the pass.

Bengals anytime touchdown pick

Ja'Marr Chase (+145 at bet365)

Cincinnati Bengals No. 1 wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase has scored three times in the past two weeks while receiving 22 targets, including three red-zone looks. The Steelers have only allowed three receiving touchdowns all season, but they have been susceptible through the air against go-to wideouts.

Minnesota Vikings star Justin Jefferson, Seattle Seahawks wideout Jaxon Smith-Njigba, and New York Jets receiver Garrett Wilson have all had big games against Pittsburgh.

Chase has also found pay dirt five times across six career games against Pittsburgh.

Plus, Bengals veteran quarterback Joe Flacco is plenty familiar with Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin and defensive coordinator Teryl Austin, and I expect Chase to be force-fed the football again under the bright lights of Thursday Night Football.
