Two of the NFC's elite meet on Thursday Night Football when the Los Angeles Rams hit the road to face the Seattle Seahawks.
While the first matchup wasn't a shootout, my Rams vs. Seahawks anytime touchdown picks are confident there will be more scoring this time around.
Here are my NFL picks for this December 18 showcase.
Rams anytime touchdown pick
Blake Corum (+250 at bet365)
Kyren Williams' fantasy owners be damned, Sean McVay has found himself a shiny new weapon to implement into this Los Angeles Rams offense.
Blake Corum has scored four touchdowns in the last three games, and his workload continues to grow. The Michigan product has double-digit carries in back-to-back outings, and those carries are coming close to the end zone as well.
Over the last three weeks, Blake Croum has had three carries inside the five, which is just one less than RB1 Kyren Williams. However, Williams is only priced at +110 to find paydirt in this prime-time matchup.
With a similar workload and a price 140 points better than his fellow back, I'll gladly back Corum to hang six on the scoreboard for the fourth game in a row.
Seahawks anytime touchdown pick
Jaxon Smith-Njigba (+115 at bet365)
Jaxon Smith-Njigba has transcended into one of the NFL's greatest wide receivers, and he sits just one touchdown away from reaching 10 on the season.
JSN leads the Seattle Seahawks in just about every receiving category you can think of — all by a comfortable margin — becoming the main man for Sam Darnold.
His target share alone makes this play a near-must bet every game, and we're getting it at plus money, which I won't turn up my nose at.
The Rams just gave up 338 passing yards to Jared Goff and the Lions, with St. Brown and Williams combining for 20 catches, 298 yards, and three touchdowns. JSN and Darnold should find similar success against a Rams' D traveling on a short week.
