The Seattle Seahawks are coming off a bye and head into a Sunday Night Football road matchup against the Washington Commanders, who will once again have their starting quarterback returning from injury.
We’ve picked out two prime touchdown targets from either side, one of which is a bigger longshot than the other.

Seahawks anytime touchdown pick
Zach Charbonnet (+110 at FanDuel)
The Washington Commanders’ secondary has been bad this season, but I don’t want to necessarily attack this team with a vertical passing threat.
Washington ranks just 26th in red zone defense, allowing opponents to score on 64.3% of trips, so I think we want to take a player who’s going to be active around the goal line.
Right now, Zach Charbonnet is the Seattle Seahawks' clear man in the red zone. He’s received a touch on 37.3% of the team’s plays in the red zone, ranking 16th among all running backs, and on the other side of the coin, Washington has allowed the sixth-most red zone touches to opposing running backs.
After running for two touchdowns in his most recent game against the Houston Texans, the third-year man out of UCLA has now rushed for five touchdowns in six games. You can be sure he’s going to get some chances in close, and now he’s stolen away the lion’s share of the carries in the backfield.

Commanders anytime touchdown pick
Luke McCaffrey (+400 at FanDuel)
The Seahawks are a harder team to pick on, given that they’ve owned one of the best defenses in the league. They currently have the fourth-best scoring defense in the red zone, and against the run, they sit first in yards per game and yards per carry.
This leads me to the Commanders’ passing game, which Jayden Daniels will once again lead in his second return from injury this week. When healthy, he’s generally leaned on Zach Ertz, but now the big man is questionable with an injury. To make matters worse, Terry McLaurin is also missing.
It’s admittedly hard to get a read on who will be involved for Washington with targets fluctuating week to week, but one thing we do know is that with starting free safety Julian Love now on injured reserve and an underperforming Josh Jobe at corner, the left side of the field could be open for business.
That’s where Luke McCaffrey resides, and while he’s scored three touchdowns in his last six games, just one of them was in the red zone, where he’s received just two targets. That should help us avoid this red zone defense of the Seahawks and provide us with a perfect guy to attack a vulnerable safety group.
