Week 3 has arrived and that means it's time for some college football player props
My college football picks this week key in on Alabama receiver Lotzier Brooks, North Carolina tight end Jelani Thurman, Michigan running back Savion Hiter, Mississippi running back Kewan Lacy, and San Jose State wideout Carson Clark.

Prop pick #1: Lotzier Brooks Over 40.5 Receiving Yards
Florida State's secondary has been having a rough go of it. After surrendering 272 passing yards and two scores to lowly New Mexico State in the opener, the Seminoles were shredded for 430 passing yards (on 11.9 yards per play!) and three touchdowns by SMU.
They now rank 123rd in success rate allowed via the pass, setting the stage for Keelon Russell and this Alabama aerial assault to have a productive outing.
Sophomore Lotzeir Brooks was banged up in Fall Camp and played sparingly in the opener, but he proved his health with a five-catch, 54-yard performance in Week 2.
With plenty of room against a faulty secondary, Brooks' talent should shine after locking down a valuable role in a passing attack that is nearly always effective under Kalen DeBoer.

Prop pick #2: Jelani Thurman Over 3.5 Receptions
Speaking of opponents who have been fade material: Clemson.
Dabo Swinney's dwindling days aren't pretty. His Tigers have been awful on offense and uninspiring on defense, ranking 94th in EPA per play and 106th in PFF's tackling grade.
North Carolina's most reliable offensive weapon has been tight end Jelani Thurman, who leads the team in targets (12), receptions (8), yards (165), and touchdowns (1). The Ohio State transfer has an FBS-best 90.5 PFF grade and a superb 3.44 yards per route run.
Offensive coordinator Bobby Petrino's "feed the studs" philosophy should result in plenty of targets and touches for Thurman in a competitive game with a 3.5-point spread.

Prop pick #3: Savion Hiter Over 46.5 Rushing Yards
After fumbling the bag in the opener against Western Michigan, expect a different effort against a different Group of 6 opponent in Week 3 as the Wolverines are a 35-point favorite over UTEP at the Big House.
The game script calls for extra rushing attempts, especially for young players, given the five-touchdown advantage Michigan is supposed to have. Enter perhaps the most tantalizing freshman back in the country, Savion Hiter.
The five-star recruit received rave reviews throughout the offseason and has handled 17 touches thus far, so it's evident the staff wants him heavily involved as a freshman. He could shred a bad UTEP defense (128th in EPA per play) that allowed over 2,000 rushing yards a season ago.
Kyle Whittingham prizes his team's physicality, especially along the lines of scrimmage. That hasn't shown up yet in Ann Arbor, but a matchup with UTEP is the perfect opportunity to build confidence in the trenches and, in turn, the running game.

Prop pick #4: Kewan Lacy Over 16.5 Receiving Yards
The biggest game of the weekend offers big-time production opportunities for the offensive weapons, given the fast tempo.
There's arguably no bigger production to speak of nationally than Kewan Lacy, the Ole Miss running back who accumulated 1,744 scrimmage yards and 24 touchdowns a year ago.
The coaching staff talked about lessening Lacy's rushing attempts (306) without impacting his touches (335). Folks, that means Lacy will handle a lot of receiving work in 2026.
This rang true in the opener against Louisville, when Lacy was targeted twice on the first possession and five times within the first three possessions. He caught four passes for 19 yards before leaving injured early, and he proved his health a week ago.
Both offenses rank within the top five in snaps per minute, so the tempo should be hyperspeed. That'll lead to more touches for Lacy, and the staff has already told you—and shown you—that means receptions are incoming.

Prop pick #5: Carson Clark Over 48.5 Receiving Yards
San Jose State is the wide receiver factory of the Group of 6, pumping out names like Danny Scudero (1,297 yards in 2025) and Nick Nash (1,382 yards in 2024).
Who is next up as WR1 for the Spartans?
It's a bit too early to tell, but true freshman Carson Clark seems like the obvious answer. He posted lucrative high school statistics for a powerhouse program (St. John Bosco) but ended up at a non-power-conference school because of his height (5-foot-9).
Well, height doesn't matter much at this program—just ask Scudero. Clark has 19 receptions for 213 yards and two touchdowns through the first three games of his career, and he's poised to thrive in offensive coordinator Craig Stutzmann's wide receiver-friendly Spread and Shred system.
