Missouri closes out its regular season against Arkansas, looking to accomplish at least one thing it couldn’t manage a week ago: score a touchdown.

The Tigers recently fell 17–6 to Oklahoma for their fourth loss of the season, failing to reach the end zone.

Arkansas, on the other hand, is playing out the string with just two wins and is still searching for its first conference victory.

I break down why I expect the Tigers to fix their offensive issues in my Missouri vs. Arkansas predictions and college football picks for Saturday, November 29.

Missouri vs Arkansas prediction

Missouri vs Arkansas best bet: Missouri -2.5 (-110)

Missouri under a field goal is a gift here. It’s a price that feels built on Arkansas making some type of “last stand” this season, but there is no empirical evidence.

Blemishes and all, the Tigers still carry the profile of a top-15 team. They rank inside the top 15 in success rate and maintain a strong offensive identity, even with a backup quarterback at the helm.

They also get a dream matchup: an Arkansas defense sitting 131st in EPA/play allowed and 118th in success rate. That’s music to the ears of Ahmad Hardy, who has been one of the best tailbacks in the country. Missouri’s offense doesn’t have to be explosive; simply staying on schedule should be enough to create over four quarters.

Meanwhile, the defense is built to stop what Arkansas does well. The Hogs lean on a top-10 rushing success rate, but they’re running straight into a Missouri front ranked top-5 in rush success allowed and top-15 in pass efficiency defense, forcing QB Taylen Green into longer, obvious passing downs.

This total is a bit inflated, which sets up my SGP.

Both teams’ effectiveness will hinge on the run game. A running clock favors the Under, especially when one offense faces a tough challenge to score quickly.

I'm wrapping things up with Missouri to cover the first-half spread as well. I expect a relatively dominant performance.
