Florida A&M and Miami will meet at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, FL, on Thursday to begin Week 2 of the College Football season.

Coming off a dominant road victory over Stanford, Miami is a 54.5-point favorite against Florida A&M. The total is set at over/under 60.5 points.

My Florida A&M vs. Miami predictions and college football picks call for a convincing Miami win in their home opener.

Who will win Florida A&M vs Miami: Miami -54.5 (55%)

Miami was unstoppable against Stanford in their season opener, with Darian Mensah and Malachi Toney routinely connecting for big gains in the middle of the field. Mensah finished with 401 passing yards and 5 touchdowns. He only had 3 incompletions on 30 pass attempts. Toney was unguardable, getting open with ease against man-heavy looks from Stanford's defense.

The Hurricanes' offense looks like one of the best in the country. Mensah and Toney are both bona fide Heisman candidates who are likely to pad their stats in Miami's home opener against an inferior opponent. This game could get ugly.

Covers COVERS INTEL: Miami scored a touchdown on 6 of their first 7 offensive drives against Stanford in Week 1.

Florida A&M vs Miami Over/Under pick: Over 61.5 (55%)

Florida A&M could be in for a long night on Thursday. Florida A&M defeated Albany State 20-7 in their season opener but lost the time-of-possession battle. Both teams in that matchup finished with 15 first downs, suggesting that the game was slightly more competitive than the final score indicates.

This past weekend, Florida A&M allowed 479 total yards to South Carolina State. They were gashed repeatedly on the ground and through the air by an opponent that plays in the MEAC.

Miami's offense will have a chance to score on each of its offensive possessions on Thursday. In Week 1, the Hurricanes had 42 points with over 20 minutes remaining in the game before taking their foot off the proverbial gas pedal late in the contest. Still, they managed 27 first downs and 549 total yards on the road against a Stanford defense that many pundits thought could take a step forward in 2026.

Miami will be able to score at will. If Florida A&M gets on the board at all, this is a game that should have a good chance to go over the total.

Florida A&M vs Miami combo (50%)

If bettors are looking for a slightly more risk-averse way to approach Thursday's game, Kalshi offers combo options, in which users can combine predictions on the side and total.

There is a non-zero chance that Miami holds Florida A&M scoreless, considering how dominant the Hurricanes looked in their season opener. If Florida A&M gets on the board at all, it might only be a field goal or two — similar to what we saw from Stanford this past weekend.

Miami has the potential to score well north of 60 points against Florida A&M, but this combo option could require more points from Miami if this game ends in a shutout.
