After just seven dimes were registered by Nikola Jokic in Game 1 against the Lakers, expect the Joker to get his team more involved for Game 2. Find out what else our NBA parlay picks are liking for tonight's games.

What better way to shake a case of the “Mondays” than three games on the NBA odds board?

Postseason action tips off with a trio of Game 2s tonight, starting with the Orlando Magic at Cleveland Cavaliers at 7 p.m. ET. The Philadelphia 76ers and New York Knicks get going shortly after (7:30 p.m. ET), while the L.A. Lakers and Denver Nuggets are the main event of the evening at 10 p.m. ET.

If you’re looking to tie in NBA picks and predictions from all three contests, I’ve cooked up a couple of NBA parlay bets to consider for April 22.

NBA playoffs parlay picks April 22

  • Jokic Over 8.5 assists, Niang Over 5.5 points, Oubre Over 11.5 points (+466 bet365)

  • Harris Over 5.5 points, Lowry Over 2.5 assists, Davis Over 12.5 rebounds (+528 bet365)

Best NBA parlay picks for Monday

NBA parlay pick 1

Nikola Jokic Over 8.5 assists

Georges Niang Over 5.5 points

Kelly Oubre Over 11.5 points

Nikola Jokic had only seven assists in Game 1, but that had a lot to do with the way the Denver Nuggets scored (transition and second-chance points). The Los Angeles Lakers want to make this a half-court game, and that’s where Joker thrives as a passer. His player projections call for a ceiling of 10.7 assists, with my number coming out to 9.3 dimes.

Georges Niang had a terrible shooting night in Game 1, going 1-for-7 from the floor (including 0 of 4 from 3-point range) in 27 minutes vs. the Orlando Magic. However, he still scored five points thanks to a 3-for-4 night from the stripe. He averages more than nine points on the season, and all models call for six or more points (with a high of 9.7 points) tonight.

I'm closing out this NBA parlay bet with Kelly Oubre, who also had a quiet postseason debut for the Philadelphia 76ers (10 points in the Game 1 loss to New York). Oubre, who is “beefing” with celeb Knicks fan Ben Stiller, scores more than 15 points on the season, and forecasts call for at least 14 points —with my number sitting just shy of 15.5.

NBA parlay pick 2

Gary Harris Over 5.5 points

Kyle Lowry Over 2.5 assists

Anthony Davis Over 12.5 rebounds

My second NBA parlay pick blends points, assists, and rebounds from three separate sources.

Gary Harris had a horrible postseason debut for the Magic, finishing 0-for-6 with a goose egg in the points column through 33 minutes in Game 1.

Harris averages about seven points per game on the season, and the belly flop this past weekend has slimmed his scoring total from 6.5 O/U to 5.5 O/U for Game 2, which is very short considering Harris was drawing totals of 8.5 points just a few games ago. Player projections have a ceiling of 9.5 points, while my number is more tempered at 7.4 points from Harris in Game 2.

Kyle Lowry logged major minutes in the series opener with the New York Knicks, recording 39 minutes and scoring 18 points. He only dished out two assists, but with New York’s defense clamping down, he’ll need to get rid of the basketball. All models consulted call for four or more dimes with a ceiling of 4.7 assists — well above the 2.5 O/U. It also helps that my Covers colleague Jon Metler likes this prop Over as well.

And finally, Anthony Davis has been battling on the boards for L.A. in recent games and will need to keep the Nuggets off the glass if the Lakers want to avoid an 0-2 hole. Davis had 14 rebounds in an up-tempo Game 1 in which Denver dominated the offensive glass. With AD working the window in a slower-paced contest, player forecasts call for as many as 16 rebounds, with my estimate coming out just shy of 14 boards.
