Another home game, another big win for the Denver Nuggets. I picked Denver to cover a double-digit spread against the shorthanded Golden State Warriors, and I’m going back to the well on Saturday as the Nugs face the more-shorthanded Indiana Pacers.
The Nuggets are an NBA-best +19.4 points per game at home this season, while the injury-plagued Pacers are -10.3 points per game on the road.
Denver is a perfect 5-0 straight up and 4-1 ATS at home. Indiana is 2-1 ATS on the road, but the their road covers came against the struggling Dallas Mavericks and the Minnesota Timberwolves in a game in which Anthony Edwards played only three minutes.
Indiana just completed a four-game homestand, punctuated by a nine-point loss to the 1-8 Brooklyn Nets.
The Pacers are still banged up at multiple key positions, and the Nuggets are healthy, playing with one of the best home court advantages in the Association. Expect a comfortable victory from the home team.
